about $50 a week if i broke it down weekly. a majority of my food shopping comes from Sams Club though. I buy a lot of food cheap there and it lasts me two weeks, sometimes more.

I drink water 1hr before a workout. cold water. and usually try to have carbs about an hour-45mins before hand. Usually an apple, which has a lot of carbs, so i'm not talking pasta and bread.

I just do it. When I don't do it I regret it. So I do it because that feeling of regret is miserable :( I'm in the same boat as you now. Currently my feet are propped up on a table but I've gotta work out or ill feel bad about skipping it tomorrow.

Thanks for all the advice :) and for the website! As for protein shakes, I use optimun nutrition whey protein chocolate flavor It's about 130 calories and 24g of protein. I've only ever had it plain nothing added and sorta enjoy it that way :) I also don't own a blender so I can't make a shake per say.

I worked hard mentally to get over my thighs being larger and realized that while I myself personally don't fully love them yet, a lot of guys do. I get girls saying they wished they had thighs that atleast had muscle. I've realized that no one in my family has small thighs minus my 81.5yr old grandmother. I will shape…

from experience, i lost a lot of weight for my body eating 1200 calories a day. In the end, i regret it. I lost a lot of muscle and now am 25% body fat and don't look nearly as good as i thought id look at my goal weight. so now im trying to reverse it by strength training, but its still sad to me that for months i ate too…

and maybe try to learn to love your thighs. i have naturally muscular thighs as well and im growing slowly to love them. although, i am realizing strength training is helping to shape them and make them look better then just huge muscular things.

some more helpful info to supply so people could really help you would be 1) how many calories are you eating a day? 2) how often do you work out? what kinds of workouts?

well, i've dropped cardio mostly. i run after 6kids all day so i consider that my cardio. I use the p90x lifting discs to workout at home. I usually do 6-8reps till failure and do the workouts 100%. I normally work out using those discs 3-5 times a week. Its been less now because i feel exhausted and without the energy to…

you and me both sadly. i have a low affair with peeps and jelly beans, specifically the black, pink, purple and white ones  tomorrow is a new day. everyone is allowed to have a rough couple of days. i don't see a healthy lifestyle being successful unless you allow yourself to eat food that you enjoy. Obviously in…

increase the weight on the machines. try looking at bodyrock.tv. they offer a lot of workouts that are short quick and yet completely exhausting (in a good way!!) some of them require special equitment, but there are plenty that don't require any besides a chair and maybe a jug of water!

i have the same problem. my legs itch and is constantly dry. The skin on and around my fingers constantly cracks and once again is constantly dry. After numerous doctors, i've come to the conclusion that its due to winter. I moisturize and try not to itch when it itches and it helps it. I also put on baby oil right before…

Well question...i believe my diary is open but i need help with loosing fat. I'm at a happy weight, not where i wanted to be but eh don't quite care anymore as long as i lose fat and fit better into clothes. I made the mistake of loosing 16lbs without strength training. (I'm a recovering cardio addict.) I have p90x system…

I detest it's lack of taste. The only water I ever enjoyed was in Switzerland and France at the base of the Swiss alps. Haha

Baked chicken with lots of minced garlic and green beans. I love garlic.

Yeah no. Ignore that. Netting 600 calories after working out will definitely hinder weight loss. Go read the road map thread that other people have posted. I did it and though I was fine working out before eating more. Since upping my calories almost 500 per day my workouts are much more intense and successful. I have the…

I have a full time job, six children including two sets of twins and they're all under 7.5 and am going to school for my masters and I still find time to do p90x. My good friend has a 40hr a week job and comes home saying she can't work out cause she's exhausted. I call some major BS.

someone told me i looked quite "tight" eh compliment i guess but still odd...

I get excited about whey protein powder coming in the mail. I have no money to buy whey but when I find the $60 to buy it I'm absolutely overjoyed. (guess that doesn't suck...but it's different) My pants don't fit. I walk through target struggling to get them to stay up. My boobs...

Temporarily successful. It all comes back pretty quickly, as in a couple days. Not worth how expensive they are.

Aww they locked the other thread... Everything is a cult. I own three dogs...it's a cult. IIFYM is a cult. I go to church...I'm in a cult. Eh we're all screwed...might as well enjoy it while we can

In order for your body to gain muscle it needs a surplus of calories. When you lose fat your muscles become more prominent making it seem like you gain muscle. But congrats anyways!
