The body has no way of discerning whether the sugar it's receiving is from an apple or a candy bar. Glucose is glucose, fructose is fructose, sucrose is sucrose, regardless of whether it's from a source labeled "GOOD" in the OP or not.

Several folks who use some variation of the TDEE method manually change the calories from exercise burned to "1," so that there's no real impact on calories remaining.

I've yet to see a peer-reviewed study that reached that conclusion, and I've seen several that concluded they weren't harmful in 'reasonable human' amounts of consumption, so I'm going to go with "no."

If you like the coconut oil in there, fine, but why would it 'help with adding a perk'? Also, coffee doesn't appreciably dehydrate anyone who drinks it at all regularly.
