I've actually been like this my whole life. I specifically will only buy cuts of meat that I don't feel like I have to worry about this with and then I trim them like crazy. I don't buy ham. I buy pork tenderloin. I never buy ground meat of any kind because the gristle WILL make me gag. I dissect just about every chicken…

All of those things sound good. But when you say you only like 2 veggies...I would imagine there are lots you haven't tried? I have a theory that anybody can like just about any food if it's prepared right. Experiment. Feel free to add me and message me if you want some suggestions. I cook lots of veg.

This too. "Healthy" doesn't have to mean a small portion of something green. I make very hearty foods all the time that are delicious and healthy. Last night I made homemade chicken noodle soup. Last week Huevos Rancheros. Awesome.

I think you need to find foods that are healthy that you enjoy and find different ways to prepare them and stick to that. Life's too short to eat things you don't like. I don't like beans (except green beans and recently black beans) so I don't eat them. I also hate ground meat of any kind. Easy enough to replace ground…

Look up Sunny Anderson's Huevos Rancheros recipe on the food network site. It's delicious and not overly unhealthy.

One of my co-workers had her husband bring her starbucks this morning. She asked if anyone wanted anything...I passed that up (for like the 3rd time in 2 weeks). Her husband then brought her starbucks and brought a box of donuts for the branch...I was offered one and declined...then spent the rest of the day smelling them…

There are a lot of things that claim to be "backed by science" that are complete BS. When your first post on the site is making ridiculous claims and telling someone to visit your websites it's pretty much a dead giveaway that you're full of crap.
-
I'm with you there...I was definitely a bit more on edge the first week or so.
-
Since you're new here and the first response to your question is this: Please know this is a BS advertisement.

I think it starts off different for everyone but I'm not sure you should be feeling tired and worn down...how many calories are you taking in per day? what's your height, weight, and age? what types of foods are you eating?
-
In what sense?

I seem to have a hard time taking in enough fiber.

I'm all for trying to make something healthier...but zucchini does not have the same texture as bread. The crunch of a vegetable (any vegetable) is not the same as the crunch or chewiness of bread.
-
You can manually set your calorie goals. I'd guess most of the successful people on here do it manually anyway...

This. Exactly this.

Pretty much this. It's not that I think it helps or hurts weight loss any for most people. I just tend to eat far too much when it comes to the biggest culprits (pasta, baked goods, etc.) I still eat bread from time to time.

Totally disagree on this one. I've been planning my meals for the last year or two. I originally started because of budget. It's easier to plan and get an idea of what I'm going to spend on groceries. However I've also transitioned this into healthy eating and it's worked very well.

This is my plan right here -- not having to stay inside if I can help it. It's one thing if it's snowing outside but we don't get too much snow so if it's just rainy and cold I'm going to do what I can to bundle up and enjoy the outdoors. Hiking especially.

Forgive me but...how do you know if it's unknown?
