You might want to train for a 5K and then a 10 K, you know, sort of work your way up! Here is a blog that may interest you: http://angryjogger.com/10-subtle-ways-that-running-will-change-your-life-dramatically-for-the-better.html Warning: He is Irish and uses filthy language (not saying all Irish have potty mouths but I am…

Can't wait to join you in Onederland. Way to go! Only 7 more lbs for me.

7 weeks is a long time. Check your measurements. It's easy to overestimate what you are eating. Google "calorie spike days" and "calorie confusion." I haven't attempted a calorie spike day but the idea intrigues me. Good luck!

Thanks for this! I am only up to 3 mile runs and I use cotton. So far I haven't had problems, but it's good to know what to anticipate down the road.

Nutella and Trader Joe's cookie butter. Although with 3 kids and hubby, they sneak in from time to time but I pretend they are not there. They are spreadable crack.
-
That's great! I think I have a pair of jeans similar to those hidden away somewhere. I hope to check them out in a few months.

My husband has been through 2 Polars in the last 4-5 years. They don't last forever but will last a couple of years, at least.

FT7 Here too. Runs about $100. Worth every penny.

If your shoes are good and you are stretching, then just be patient. Keep running and your legs will get stronger and you will be able to run more and more. I started in June and I still sometimes get sore from a 3 mile run or a long hike.

On a whole wheat turkey sandwich! Feel free to add sprouts and a slice of bacon...hmmmmmmmmmm

What's the best way to remove? Ha anyone tried "No No"?

Butter. It is natural and my body can digest it properly. I ain't skeered of a little natural fat, just use it in small amounts.

OK, I am certain you love each other, but here is my experience with my own brother. I hope this might give you a different perspective on things. I am NOT JUDGING. First of all, neither my brother nor me are fit and trim and this point, so I am not judging him for how much he eats. The only thing is, when he visits, he…

So if you're a chicken fiend, which I am, here is a much healthier recipe that is so delicious we make it nearly every week! Marinade: Juice and zest of 2 oranges Juice and zest of 2 lemons 1/2 c of olive oil 1/2 c of sweetened lime juice (the kind you use to mix cocktails) salt and pepper whatever fresh herbs you have on…

mercury, that's great! I am sure you will find an even better pair of pants that you will love even more....b/c they will be a smaller size!

Not working for me.

Are you still running? Whenever I put in the time and effort to run, I never want to undo all that hard work by eating junk.
-
That's so funny, I just got back from a long hike and was ravenous. The only thing readily available was a Clif bar which I devoured in about 60 seconds flat. However I drank a big glass of water and I feel like I can make it until supper now. Grilled chicken ...yummy

Egg burps? OMG

I was going to suggest alcohol. At 52 calories, would you even taste it and would it even matter if you were drinking beer? I would prefer just have a real beer and get it over with.
-
I'd rather There's not enough cocoa powder and Stevia in the state of Virginia to make that right.

I'm with you! I love to have a drink at the end of the day - it relaxes me and helps me wind down and get ready to sleep. 2 drinks? Even better. 3 drinks? Maybe too many calories! However I am trying to cut way back, simply b/c I need the cals for food. Also beers make me retain water and feel bloated. Wine is not too bad…

It seems like workouts really help control my appetite. I didn't run this morning b/c I had to take the kids to the Dr. early for checkups and shots. So I feel hungrier today than on days when I run in the morning. It's weird. I will run late this afternoon, since the weather is awesome and the air is cool. Maybe that will…
