This will be my first time typing out all my goals. This may be good for me. 1. I want to hit my calorie goal, or get within 100 cal. of it. And eat more protein. You'd think that would be easy, but I seem to have trouble with it. :grumble: 2. Take another month break from the booze. Haven't had much since my last one…

I am 41 and just started the Stronglift 5x5 program. Only on my 2nd week. Can't wait to see the results! Also, was doing travel crossfit workouts 5x a week and have now reduced it to 3. Will possibly throw in yoga here and there. Now that I hit my goal weight, I want to gain 5lbs. Still have some excess fat on the gut, but…

I am 5'3", 41, and weigh about 120 right now. I have been bouncing between 125-130 for the past year. I finally decided to get stricter with my diet, slow down the drinking, and add crossfit to my lifting. Now my goal is to get back up to 125. Started the stronglift 5x5 last week and loving it! Went from doing crossfit 5x…

Great!! Thank you both for your advice!! We will definitely start it now that I know it won't take a ton of time. Have been looking forward to it since I found it 3 weeks ago!

Keep up the good work!! Don't let people get you down. I generally don't talk to others in my area about my workout program. Sometimes, they kind of make me feel ashamed of being in the shape I'm in and that I want to get fitter. My daughter was getting a hard time in school about giving up sugar and trying out the paleo…

I have not been able to start the SL5x5 yet. We still have two weeks of our program left to do. If I was by myself, I would have started it already. My September goals are to finish my lifting program I'm on, keep up with the 100 travel crossfit workouts 5x a week, start with paleo eating, and lose 1 more inch in my…

I fixed my diary so public can see it. Since I got back, I haven't stressed so much about the clean eating. I am stool eating healthier though. My stomach is now, slowly, starting to shrink. Also, I am getting more calories in. I live 30 & 50 miles from the closest grocery stores, and eating clean is super expensive! So I…

Thank you all for the input! Thought my diary was open. Getting ready to head out for the Spartan and won't be home till Sunday. Will fix it then. Will also try the gluten free. Thanks again!!

No one really says anything to me. But, then, I just started lifting again this past fall. We'll see what people say this summer when I wear shorts and tank tops. I love lifting, and lift with my hubby when he's not lifting with our son. I don't get weird looks cause we lift in our shop. Who cares what people say. Muscle…

This sounds like fun! I don't keep track ususally of anything but my gut. Tomorrow, I'm starting the high schoold version of the Johnny Parker program. Pretty excited about it! Will have to get my measurements.

I am told that running does the job. I'm having a tough time getting rid of the last bit of mine. It's kind of in my genes. Big belly and no butt.lol I haven't been doing as much running as should be, but I think it really does do the trick.

Btw, this one confused me too;)

I have a calculation I use. Not sure what time zone you're in, but if you want to give me a call, we can figure it out. Private message me and let me know.

I'm in. I've been slacking so bad lately. I couldn't get my healthy diet on track, but I think I got it now. Need to step it up a notch:)

I have been craving non stop this whole week!

I'm in. You are a very inspiring lady!! As you know, I started running today. Will take a little bit to get used to it! My husband is definately up for the challenge, of getting me in shape that is.lol Will let you know how it goes.

I am doing Insanity and weight lifting right now to get ready for my first race in May. When my husband isn't in the shop, I will also do the WOD's. Not sure if I really want to run outside right now. A little cold:)

I'm a big fan of weight training. But, both is the key...along with eating right. I have had an issue with my stomach...always... I find that my stomach is going away alot faster now that I've added weights to my program and eating healthier. Was just doing Insanity for awhile, but need to get in better shape by May.

I'm doing Insanity and weight lifting, but pre ordered the Les Mills combat and waiting. I'm enjoying Insanity for once, so I may just do them both throughout the week, once I get the Les Mills dvd's. I will still lift 3 nights a week, but am really excited for the Les Mills combat.

I started Insanity this week with a 3 day a week weight lifting program. I'm thinking after a month or two, I will start Asylum. Have only done a couple of the workouts for Asylum. Really want to finish Insanity for the first time ever before I start Asylum though.
-
I am doing Insanity while on a weight lifting program. I've done Insanity before, so just doing the videos randomly. Today I did cardio recovery and remembered how hard it is! Aiming for a Spartan race in May, so will keep up on the Insanity this time. Will most likely go to Asylum in a couple months.

I have been exercising about 3-4 days a week for the past couple months. Not eating right though. I've been really tired of being tired and lazy but couldn't seem to get out of the funk. I went to my brother's house last weekend and he showed me some really awesome videos. It's called a Spartan Race. OMG, it looks so fun…
