I was eating back my calories from exercise (also on 1,200) and didn't really notice weight loss so now I am not going to eat them back and see what happens!

Sigh... life's too short! Treat yourself to one! My birthday last week I had 2 double sausage and egg mcmuffins (over 2 days) and still lost a pound that week!!

No I have no intention of becoming a runner or running races etc, want to do cardio purely for weight loss.. Going to try the Couch to 9K plan!

I completely agree - I log my cleaning as I do 2 major cleans a week for at least an hour!! Don't listen to all the negative people. How long would you suggest I go for to build up? I presume you increased your distance over time. I just don't really know how to increase. How many runs do you do a week?

Thank you all for your information. I think I should mix it up a bit - maybe 3 cross training sessions and 1 run. I would love to run 6 miles!! Okay brilliant, thanks for all your advice, I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to exercising. I have reduced my body fat percentage since starting so hopefully completing the above will enable me to reduce the size of my thighs and bum!

With regard to the mince, I have been eating Turkey mince rather than beef - much lower in calories, fat and cheaper as well! Tastes different but its not a bad different. Would definitely recommend.
