I have an insane 2 year old and I still (usually) work out with her around. She is in a phase of stealing my dumbbells and running away with them. So i think I just need heavier weights...

thanks! walking is an amazing workout. Low impact and it burns pretty good calories. You will start getting to your goal. Hang in there!!! Well, she started and i was all like "i just want lipo, people cant really lose that much weight alone" and then she lost 70 pounds and I was like heyyyy now.....Its hard getting other people to lose weight when they aren't ready. I have an insane 1 1/2 year old so I usually wait until she is tired and getting comfy on the couch or I work out right after she eats breakfast or lunch and have her watch some pbs so I can get my workout in. I totally agree with this. There is no reason to starve yourself or deprive yourself. I found that when you do that you fall, HARD. Just eat right and workout and you will be golden. Besides, eating is fun and good for you as long as you don't go crazy.

Howdy! I'm right in between 5'7 and 5'8 and I started on MFP December 2012 at 247 (ish) pounds and I a currently 182 my goal is 160 cause then I'm FINALLY in a healthy BMI but considering how I feel at that point, I might shoot for 150. Good luck!!!
