Definitely cut back on carbs, but also incorporate exercise as that lowers blood sugar! Also, look into low glycemic foods. A vegetarian diet is also very helpful, or even a vegan diet if you can. WOW! Made this with whole wheat flour. Wasn't quite sweet enough for my taste buds, so I added just a teaspoon of sugar, and it tastes like a chocolate-banana brownie! Totally awesome! Thanks! I should probably just use a couple drops more of honey next time instead of the sugar. :-P
