I'm about 17 days in to the Insanity Program. I don't think it's like circuit training at all. So far, most workouts, including warm-up and cool down are about 42 minutes. You go six days a week with one day off. I'm about 20 lbs overweight and my goal is to shed the fat and then focus on adding some muscle. I also work in…

Holy &$)#! Red Velvet... i have to try those. I'd prob try and stick to one a day but that's just me.

If you can find them... add a cup of sliced strawberries or grapes. Or really any fruit is good just adjust the amount to meet your calorie goals.

I was curious about this myself. There is another article that this one links to about Metabolic Rate. It provides more information but really doesn't discuss it in detail.

I eat it almost every day for breakfast. There is nothing wrong with dairy unless you're allergic to it. I'd see a nutritionist for nutrition matters.

Suuanto M5 is bad *kitten*! But.... it's more expensive. If you're looking for a good value HRM, check out the Polar FT4. It's the most basic model that tracks calories burned and costs 70-90 new

wipe the chest strap on the side that touches your skin with a damp wash cloth. Make sure there is plenty of water on it. I have a Polar FT4 and an old Nike and both them don't work if I don't get the straps wet where they touch my skin.

Polar is a good brand and they are very reasonable. As you can see by reading the posts, many people have that brand, I have the Polar FT4 and I'm really happy with it. The FT4 is the lowest end Polar HRM that tracks calories burned (which you want). As you go up, there will be more advanced features that you may not need.…

If you are talking about regular Cheerios (not honey nut Cheerios or some other sugar coated cheerios), I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you like them, eat them. You could do a lot worse. Your post is titled "glycemic index" so I'm not sure if you're diabetic but if so, keep an eye on your b/s readings as any type of…

This thread is funny because that chic looks great! I bet there isn't one dude in this thread that wouldn't be thrilled if their girlfriend looked like that.

Bieber.... in his mc hammer pants and wife beater. WTF!

First of all relax. The fact that you went over 500 calories really means nothing. Some people prefer to look at things on a weekly basis instead of a daily basis for this very reason. Say your goal is lose 1 lb per week and you were eating at a deficit of 500 calories per day. At the end of the week, it wouldn't matter if…

If you mean he is having problems when T says "keep your core tight", tell him to pay attention to how his stomach muscles feel when he laughs. He can even fake laugh to get an idea what it feels like to tighten or activate the core muscles.

Tell him that he can either support you, shut his f'in pie hole or leave. That's three options for him.

Anyone who is up for supporting each other feel free to add me! I'm here every day.

I think many of those people just wonder in after their workout because they want a little cardio to finish things off.

There are quite a few HIIT Programs for a treadmill on the internet. Usually, there is a predetermined ratio. For example 2:1 you would go 2 mins high with 2 mins lower intensity or vice versa depending on the program. The whole idea is that your heart rate remains in a certain zone during the intervals. This is a very…
