I completely agree. Even if they put a small salad on their value menu it would be great. Their food is so unhealthy, but it's cheap and convenient. If their salads cost less or a small one added to their value menu, people would make better choices.

Try slicing the avocados onto a bed of lettuce with some other vegetables. Avocados are high in calorie, and although other veggies are low, they are still good for you. From what I understand about how MFP works, is the calorie budget your given is calculated with the, lets say, 500 calorie deficit. Weight flucuates all the time. Weigh yourself once a week. If you decide to weigh yourself everyday, weigh in generally the same time everytime. Preferrable in the morning after using the bathroom.

Being smart would be making the decision to go a different route completely. Restricting to a diet that consists of only 500 calories even short-term is unhealthy, especially if you're exercising. With exercise, you are working off those 500 calories and living off nothing. Last I knew, living off nothing leads to death.

The best advice I can give you is to get a hrm monitor. It will help you accurately record calories burned. I have a Polar FT7 and I use it everytime I work out. I don't workout with it because I need to know exactly how many calories I burn so I know how many to consume.
