I'm sure you'll "work" it out.... B)

If you want the chips - only make and eat half a sandwich. The key to losing weight is to adapt your previous eating habits that caused you to gain weight. You don't need to give up food items, just eat less of them to fit into your new calorie reality. (I'm not even going to comment on the 1200 calories.........)

No, from the reference to grains, I think he's talking about sprouted grains. Which would just shrivel when you cook them as they are mostly water and sugar. Now brussel sprouts, that's a horse of a different colour. I just finished a brussell sprout and Kale slaw for lunch. I also like them steamed, or sauteed with bacon…

Why - what magically happens in the oven to diminish their nutritional value?

Once you have copied the "meal" to the day you want. Click on each line one by one and you can change the meal status. For example from dinner to lunch. I do it with left overs 2 or 3 times a week.

oooohhh you're going to hate me - I'm in BC and it hit plus 15 yesterday and plus 18 today. stay warm and safe.
-
Huh - minimum 36oz beer per day. Apparently I should have been eating donuts for the last 12 months.

More to do with endorphins than insulin I would think. Unless you are diabetic?
-
Just a safety note - continually running uphill (you said 5% incline) can lead to shin and hamstring issues. I run 1% incline until the last few minutes of my treadmill run.
-
ahhhhh - now we see your true colours.
-
And this is just silly talk.
-
Beer IS food.

Kaizen works.

Looked like a fairly good bit of info for someone just starting to do their own groceries and meals.

Man am I glad its then of the day and hopefully the nonsense above about the debil sucrose will go unnnoticed.............

Actually depending on the ice cream, if still frozen and full of air - it could weigh less than water.
-
But the nutritional labelling is listed by volume. Why would you not use the information available? Liquids should be measured by volume, solids by weight. Needing to convert ice cream to grams in order feel you have the proper "weight" so you can eat it is like only buying gasoline for your car in 1 gal ( or liter)…
-
Why not just buy an appropriately sized ice cream scoop. I have many different sizes on the shelves in my warehouse.............
-
Getting it in the measuring cup isn't the problem...... >:)
-
I just checked - they are in mls instead of grams, but they nutrition label is there. OP I would just treat it as a liquid and measure is that way. It is a liquid actually - a frozen liquid.
-
Surely its on the nutrition label on the side like everything else?
-
Definitely this.

Yoga is a good start - but I found weight training is helping me maintain muscle mass more than yoga did/does.

Also squats to stengthen the glutes.
-
ummmm - I'm having a terrible sense of deja vu with this thread.............
-
Lite beer!!!!! We have found a witch, may we burn him??? If drinking doesn't fit now, how are you going to maintain when you go back to drinking? This - on a minimum of 36oz per day of beer.
-
I too am weeping - I get experimentation, but cauliflower alfredo? Alfredo de Lelio is rolling in his grave.
-
This, I believe, is the key.

1. Do a search for the thousand other threads on this topic. 2. Prelog it and work it in. 3. Drink.

I don't log fluids that don't have calories. I just stay hydrated.
