On Friday, I went to IKEA and walked around the entire store for at least an hour and a half... so I hope that counts for something!

Had to go back to work on Thursday and ended up running errands until 8:45pm! I was exhausted when I got home and had to be up and back at work at 7am so I did nothing. Will try to stop by the gym today on my way home...

Was able to get a 30 min walk in yesterday... felt good to be active... may try for today since we are snowed in the house!

This week I think that I realized that you have to make an effort to get the needed water that your body needs. When we do not do this, we are depriving ourselves of the main thing that we need to be successful at weightloss and living the healthiest lives possible.

Trying to start my day off right, this morning right after getting out of bed, I had a glass of water... i have heard that this is a good habit to have to start the flushing process!

Also, I decided to make my diary open. So that I can track my water publicly... maybe if I know people are looking I will do better! Don't know but worth a try!

Yesterday, I did at least four glasses of water before lunch... but I did break down and drink sweet tea for lunch. It was good! I did finish the day with more water and got around 7 glasses for the day total. Going to do better tomorrow!

You dont need a fitbit to participate... I just have one. Any pediometer should work... but its nice that fitbit syncs with the application.

I will create a google spreadsheet where you will enter your weight information/measurements. We can weigh-in on Monday since we are starting Monday, Jan 20th. You are welcome to post pictures of course before and after but anytime to show how you are doing!

Morning! I am excited to join and my starting weight is 269.4 today! I am hoping to lose 10lbs this month and get down to the high 250s. I think 10lbs is doable. I just joined a gym and am trying to work out more so I will be excited to see the results!

@nycolemullins please make sure that you are doing them as though you are seated and not leaning forward as I am sure this will hurt your back... Not sure if anyone else has advice but be safe!
