I have to eat smaller portions so make sure that I don't start with the candy and sugars as they trigger me to eat more and they are sliders. I drink Unjury shakes made with low fat milk or Baciatric Fusion, different flavors. Make sure you have ones that have the correct type of protein as that makes a difference. I go on my surgeon and nutritionist recommendation.

I put protein in my coffee, after it has cooled down, cheese sticks, boil eggs ahead of time, Pure Protein bars, Proti Diet crisps, etc. I make sure that I have those things with me when we travel, and when I'm going to be gone from home several hours.

Thanks for all the information. Will have to check with my hairdresser as I'm almost 67 so the gray that I cover is a funny consistency. Have lots of loose ends flying out as the new hair is growing in.

Many of us have had the sleeve and are concentrating on getting our protein in as well as 64 ounces of water a day. We are not counting calories per say but doing what our surgeon and nutricianist want us to do!

Found that my scale is close to my doctors and was told to up my protein. I return in May there so I consider that my official weigh in as that is where I got my preop weight and BMI. I thought I wasn't going down on sizes so much, but then put on what I could where when I first started. More clothes to donate!!!

Had lunch with friends and ordered scrambled eggs. Ate some of them...They were dry and then drank coffee. Played cards and had no desserts or snacks that were on the table.

It's hard for me to throw out food, but getting better at it if need be since I had the sleeve done.

Some of us on this site had Vertical sleeve procedure or other Gastric surgery to help with weight loss so can't eat the calories they talk about.
