Protein bars? Shakes?

Hey all! Hope everyone is having a great day today. ;)

So, I'm a waitress/caterer, about to hit a very busy season of weddings, all things happy, and 12 hour shifts. During my long days, I don't have much time to stop and eat while working. Sure, there's an array of appetizers and fatty foods to pick at, but I'm staying away! I'm getting WAY under my calorie deficit on these days, and by the time I get home, I skip eating and pass out. I wanted to start working a protein bar or shake of sorts to work in my shifts. Packing pieces of fruit is a staple, but I need a little more to keep me going.
What do you folks think? I'm looking for something without a laundry list of crappy ingredients. Buying organic isn't a problem, I prefer it. There's so much to look at in the store, so I figured I would ask for real opinions. ;) As healthy as possible with a nutrient punch that will keep me full for a bit! Thanks everyone!

If I'm in a hurry and need a quick meal before swimming (which is often), I make the following:

    30gr whey (vanilla) protein powder
    100gr ground oatmeal
    500mL milk
    20gr cacao powder

Shake shake shake, boom! Done. Worth well over 700 calories. And health!y!
You can leave out the whey if you don't exercise.

Forgot to mention: It's tasty, too. Tastes like chocolate milk with a bit of oatmeal flavour to it.. I think the protein powder adds the sweetness to it.

I grab Premiere protien shakes or Quest bars. Also try adding a cheese stick with the fruit, helps you stay full longer.

I like to bring a greek yogurt into work and eat it as I work. I bartend, so I know what its like to work long hours and not have time or be able to sit and eat a meal. What everyone else said is great advice too. I'm unable to drink the premade protein shakes for some reason. They give my throat this scratchy sensation :\

I have made myself peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and put them into a baggy, cut into fours for easy picking. Celery is good. Sometimes I even cut up a chicken breast into strips and I will just eat that plain or grab some kinda sauce (salsa, ranch, honey mustard, etc) Everyone always mentions nuts, but the serving size is just not enough to even make an impact on my hunger...lol. But if you're looking to bump up calories, they are good too.

I put protein in my coffee, after it has cooled down, cheese sticks, boil eggs ahead of time, Pure Protein bars, Proti Diet crisps, etc. I make sure that I have those things with me when we travel, and when I'm going to be gone from home several hours.
