  • I hear with an intense kettle bell workout people achieve that type of burn.
  • I eat both hard cheese and sour cream, albeit I find that the hard cheeses sometimes plug me up, so I have been trying to go easy on the hard cheese.
  • I broke keto for awhile, and gave up MFP for a few months because I stalled out for about 4-5 months...I gained 12 lbs and it was not good for me. I am now 12-13 pounds heavier and getting back on the wagon was not easy for me. I know experiences will vary, but if you really don't need to I wouldn't. There are many good…
  • Totally this ^ Don't make the mistake I did by breaking Keto and then restarting it to spur weight loss....That route is a bad choice. Fat fasts, or IMF (intermittent fasting) is the best way to go about it imo.
  • Oh boy do I get sick of explaining keto to people, and the lack of general knowledge towards low-carb lifestyles (as well as nutrition in general ) is somewhat appalling...You'd think people would be more concerned in regards to what they're eating. What's really agitating is that as soon as I say low-carb they…
  • Thanks so much for the advice, and to help me understand it better ! I got a touch worried because I took 18mg with a vitamin, and I eat tons and tons of meat lol.
  • I donated 3 very full garbage bags of neatly folded fat clothes to the local charity :)
  • Still not hot yet, but I'm workin on it:
  • omfg who does that?
  • Sorry, I'm not exactly 30, but pretty close. I'm 27 with about 39 more pounds to lose :)
  • I go sometimes on the days in between work. My line of work is very intensive in terms of being on your feet constantly and moving stuff around, (sometimes I even jog down the hall at work!) So that said, I usually only spend 30-45 min. at the gym (albeit I'd like to start increasing that) and I just usually utilize the…
  • My parents charged me rent when I was 16...So if they were doing well and what not, I'd charge them a small amount just to help out w. food and stuff if they were financially able.
  • Aww thank you so much :blushing:
  • Sadly I have no photos of myself at my highest weight, but I started taking photos around 194 lbs. So, that said : The first set of pics I was 194 lbs in a tight fitting pair of size 18 pants. The second set of pics I am at 167 in semi loose size 14 pants (I am now 166, and do have some pairs of comfortable fitting size…
  • Personality, life, whatever aside - Note that I'm talking about looks only here; I've always admired Betty Page's looks more. If I am not mistaken she was 5'6 and 36- 26 - 36 at 128 pounds. I'm me, I only want to be me, but I wouldn't mind looking like her :) I've got a long ways to go though at 5'6 myself, and 166 lbs…
  • Having gone through it much similar to your exp. back in my teens I can tell you that my bottom front teeth are messed up, but my metabolism has always been on the slow side. It's not impossible to lose weight the right way though if that's what you're asking. I would get w. your Dr. and rule out all the weight loss…
  • Wolves ! Oh, wait a min... Just kidding, I'm clearly no wolf.
  • Black coffee - and lots of it! I don't think I can function properly without at least 3-5 cups a day.
  • I'm trying to not let it get the best of me. I sort of had a cheat night the other day in hopes of breaking my stall (but I kept it keto, and funny enough my net carbs were still pretty low at 14 - albeit higher than usual.) I also had a jack and coke - that was the major cheat item. I hope that night shook things up a bit…
  • Since for some reason I can't edit this...lol I lost enough to get down to 169, but went back up to 171 - 172 and have been fluctuating for about 3 weeks. The only thing on the list that seems to make sense is either hypothyroid (which does run on my dad's side,) or stress....I really have been stressing lately - a lot.
  • I've been having a terrible stall...I went from 192, and have been fluctuating between 171 - 172 for the past 2 weeks....the only reason that may apply is stress, or hypothyroid. Wish I had the money to check it...It's really infuriating.
  • Mostly French on my father's side - not sure of my mothers side, but I take mostly after my father's side anyhow.
  • That's you - not everyone else. Your personal experiences aren't =/= to everyone else's experiences. Either way, I like my lifestyle and I've never been happier. It's not because "I don't know what I can or can't eat" my meal plan is very clear, and simple. I've done a lot of home work on keto before I started last year.…
  • Because ya know, people can't change their eating habits can they? /sarcasm Argue all you want that you can eat things like ice cream, bread, cake, pop tarts, twinkies, etc... in moderation and still lose weight....Good for you guys, but it's not the same for everyone. I used to be one of those people who could eat 2-3k +…
  • Almost anything Jimi Hendrix Led Zeppelin Pink Floyd Tom Petty Rolling Stones These guys might not be too old for some, but keep in mind I'm 27
  • In my experience it is. Carbs require a lot more water to process, and that could be the reason why. I'm sure there is someone around here with a better take on why this happens :)
  • Nice I'd like to join. Edit: I just sent a request :D
  • I have a phobia of going to the Dr., and especially of needles and getting blood work done. I was scheduled to get a blood panel done once, and I ran out of the office crying when they called my name...and I was 23 at the time /shm Another problem of mine is a social anxiety disorder I have, but haven't been medicated for…
  • It does get to be a bit of a balancing act that's for sure. I track fiber in my diary and then subtract that to get my net carb count. I know that chia seeds usually will put me over carb count wise and stuff, but I sometimes take husk in the form of a pill, and there are no net carbs in it thankfully :)
