  • They are called ring gaurds. The plastic ones are cheap at about $2 but if you value your ring head to a jewelry store and ask for one to be installed. It should be a small metal piece the clips on the underside of the ring.
  • If you have a phone that has "APPS" you can download this site to it. Otherwise if this is somewhere you like to go regularly you can go to the "my recipes" tab and load all the indrediants to get the count of the sandwich and salad. Takes a little time but well worth it. Also feel free to ask them what they are putting on…
  • I think they are great fillers for on the go. I too try to make everything fresh but sometimes my schedule just won't let me. So I eat the Hormel completes. They may not be that great for me but I would rather have that than skipping lunch which causes me to eat out of control at dinner because I'm starving.…
  • Protein should not matter. If you go over on fat then it's more of an issue. At any rate one day is not the end of the world and you're not going to baloon up from 34g extra. Enjoy the dinner with no guilt.
  • Depends how much structure you're looking for. I'm sure there are some good sites out there but if you pretty much know what you're doing try youtube. I have found some good in home workouts on there just by putting in the area's I would like to target.
  • I would maybe suggest that you find a back pack and load it with 50 pounds of weights or books. Strap it to you and then go for a mile walk. That may help show the distance you have come and what it has really done for you.
  • I tracked my Burgerville trips after I started this. 2200 Calories in one meal. That doesn't include my breakfast or lunch before had.
  • I went on Carnival to St Thomas and Jamacia. Was a great time. A little bias since I met my wife on the cruise but would go again. The Alaska Cruises are suppose to be the best and a friend had a great time on a European cruise.

  • JOP should be around $100 give or take a little. Final bill for our wedding....about 30k. I was thinking Vegas baby she wanted traditional. She won :)
  • Thanks for all the advice. I feel I need to weigh every day for accountability or else I will use the excuse of I will catch up later in the week. My scale is pretty accurate and will shoe the same weight if I step off and on a few times and I do it the same time of day every day. I did put on my jeans straight out of the…
  • Thanks for all the kind words. Back on track today and have my meals planned out. Great call on that one as finishing through the cupboards is really what was getting me in trouble.
  • Wow I'm in the same boat. Was doing really good and then "slam!" got the bug. Now I feel myself un motivated as I'm coming out of it and ready to give up. Put on a lb and had no energy to work anything off. I'm personally just going to fight this, ride it out and get back on track in the next day or so. The only good thing…
  • I would skip the slim fast shakes and get use to eating more regularly and samller portions. The problem I would have is I would eat hardly anything all day then when dinner hit the table I was so hunger I would eat until I was sick. Eating throughout the day will help curb the dinner hunger and make it easier to control…
  • Although loosing weight can reduce or even eliminate sleep apnea if you have all the signs it's still good to get checked out. Sleep apnea is not just found in people who carry extra weight. I have seen rail thin people have it and more and more studies show that apnea is not something to ignore.
  • I'll join the pitty party. I lost a few then stopped. I know it's just my body adjusting but it's still nice to see that scale going down.
  • You will find great support here with everyone. Good luck to you :)
  • Try the website allrecipes. I believe you can search dishes by spices too. I'm a big Italian cooker so oregeno, garlic, basil, corrianded relaly help me out. Also you can search dry rubs for meat and I'm sure it will take a lot of what you have on the rack.
  • I have to say I really like the kind words that come with a post. Its really motivating and today I ditched the second slice of cheese on my sandwich to save 90 calories. Thanks a bunch!
  • I load the calories I know I'm going to eat for the day and that really helps me with knowing what I have as the evening comes and really helps me in planning my dinners or an eveing snack. It's a great planning tool and I know if something is coming up for dinner like a night out I can adjust my lunch. Usually by 2:00 I…
  • It seems a little low but for myself I have also found that the food data base is not always accurate. So I keep mine as it is as a buffer to the potential miscount in calories from their database.
  • It took about 2 weeks but I switched from Dr. Pepper to Diet Dr. Pepper. Now I like that even more then the regular. Actually just posted about it and how much I drink it :)
  • Welcome. I started 2 days ago. The support here is great! Ask a question on the forum board and get responses right away in a supportive tone. Good luck!!!!
  • I was big on kickboxing in my late teens and early 20's. It is a great form of exercise and a good solid work out. You can add weights in the form of wrist and ankle bands to push it up even more. That being said please do not think that this will be a strong canadite for self defense. Classes are based around the punching…
  • Wow you're way more orginized than I can be. More power to you for the labeling and freezing. Right now I'm just winging it and keep fesh items in the house. As for recipes I just google search and usual can find a site that has a few or I will use the standard All Recipe site or Food TV. They usually list a calorie total…
