Hi Guys, My name is Kara. I'm 28 and from the UK. I work as a Health Facilitator for OH, so I spend most of my working day preoccupied with promoting healthy lifestyle and wellbeing. I originally dropped from 180lbs to 130lbs around 4 years ago and I maintained that for a long time. However over the past year I've ended up…

Day 2/ Another 55 down :)

Day 1 done :)

I'd like to do something like this. Is there one for March?

I'm in. I'm start with some tonight whilst I'm doing my pre-assessment activities to 'warm' into it. Does anyone ever break them up throughout the day (for example, I'm probably going to find it easier to fit in doing 100 before work and the rest after in the later stages of this)?

Thanks SamandaIndia. I've signed up to join and I'm looking forward to it

Hi Mallowbar, Please could you add me to the spring break challenge spreadsheet. I should be able to add stats when I'm at work, but i can't seem to make it work on my iPad. My email is toxicfairies@hotmail.com I'll add all my pre-assessment things on Monday. Thank you :)

Hi everyone. My name is Kara, I'm 28 and I work as a health facilitator. I'm 5'5.5" and currently weigh in around 146lbs (though I need to check that before Tuesday). I've put on a few lbs over the past year or so, and I really want to get rid of them. Im hoping this challenge will help me drop around 10lbs and get me back…

I'd really like to be part of this please :)

That's fantastic news! I hope you have a speedy recovery and will be up on your feet in no time! :)

I like to have smoked salmon & poached egg in mine (or if it's the weekend I like replace the salmon with bacon!).

I haven't actually seen the Special K diet advertised in the UK for over a year. I wondered if they'd been banned from advertising it (speculation - I have absolutely no idea if that is the case). In any case you could be eating things with a much better nutritional content for the same amount of calories (for example a…

We've been together for nearly 5 years (living together for 3) and not engaged. It's probably on the cards within the next year but I'm in no hurry. I can't see how being married will make the slightest difference in our relationship (other than costing a lot of money we can't afford/I would rather spend on other things).

Pizza, cookies, cake, pasta, wine, chocolate. I still eat/drink ALL of it! I'm just a bit more moderate about it now. Although I'm a lot pickier about processed food these days. They just don't taste good unless I make them myself. I recently had a bacon & egg McMuffin and it was awful. Much prefer putting together my own.

Why does having a large appetite have to equate with being the size of a house? It's pretty sad that a guy would find something like an appetite a turnoff. Why would you possibly care about something so trivial? I'd understand if this question was something like "does eating the wrong foods turn you off" or "are you turned…

Every day is a 'cheat' day! I eat anything and everything without restricting anything from the menu. I'm just more carefully with how much I want to eat. As it happens though, I'm not a massive fan of takeaways & processed junk anyway. I started putting together my own bacon & egg muffins rather than eating the McDonalds…

I've done Insanity Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs & then JM's Burn Fat Boost Metabolism today. Nice weather makes me want to workout!

I was surprisingly happy with it. It wasn't a bad adaptation. Although I do agree with Juwaack68 about the shaky camera. I suppose it's just for the audience to get a sense that everything is happening in a blur at certain parts but I had to move back a few seats to get a better focus. But I would say go and see it. I…

Gin and slimline tonic! 50ish calories a glass! Lovely! But I usually just ignore everything and drink wine. :D but gin would be my advice, anyway.

Nothing wrong with having one now and then. The only thing I'd say is have it with a meal if possible and not by itself as it's less damaging to the teeth that way. Otherwise, enjoy!

To be honest, I'm not sure why you're eating such a little amount. 1 weetabix with barely any milk for breakfast & then only 3 meals a day. And you have no fruit of veg intake at all judging by today's food. One thing I see people do commonly is drop their food intake drastically low to lose weight and then unsurprisingly…

That really is fantastic! You have every right to gloat a little - you've done things the right way and it shows in the results, and you've been able to influence someone you care about. Really well done!

My boobs are a lovely 30DD since losing weight (from a 34E) but they look awful without a bra. I can't stand them. They were perkier before, for goodness sake.

A mid-sized microwave and a guinea pig.

You look amazing! Well done!

I have to be honest. I can't see how this: relates to this: Are they making you go outside because you're still a smoker? Otherwise I don't really see the connection (I know people that have never smoked or still so smoke who are complete A-holes in the office!) Most ex-smokers are b****es though! I was (still am?)!

I have no idea what they taste like (Chipotle burrito, that is) . All my Mexican food is made with Old El Paso kits, or I'll put home-made beef chili in a wrap (or occasionally I'll frequent Chiquito's, but very occasionally) - but, as I am fond of the Mexican food I do get the impression that I would absolutely love them.…

I just add an entry for Tetleys tea /w milk that comes up as 22 calories (I don't have sugar). It's not really accurate because a) I drink PG Tips and b) my milk is 1% and for the amount I have it'd be a lot less calories, but quite frankly I'd rather just make a quick round up and enjoy my cup of tea. I now always use…

Are you sure you've been logging correctly? Little bites whilst cooking, drinks are a killer, unlogged oil. That kind of thing. Or perhaps overestimating calories burned - MFP can give you an estimate but sometimes for me it can be over by quite a bit.

I'm not religious, but Lent gives me a period of time that I can reasonably stick to, to cut back and live a healthier life. This year it'll be takeaways and chocolate. I wouldn't ever give up something I rarely have because it just feels like cheating - what's the point?
