  • and I've dropped the bar on my foot once. That probably hurt more than anything. It was a 45# bar doing snatches because I still cant add weight. Least.favorite.lift lol
  • I hit myself in the face with wall balls every time. Snapped myself in the crotch with the band, almost fell over trying to pick up my jump rope, hit myself in the crotch doing hang cleans, and gave myself rope burn on my crotch when coming down from a rope climb too quickly. Apparently my girly bits are getting in the way…

  • some days I dont eat, some days I have a few sips of coffee and some days I will have a spoon full of almond butter or a few pieces of jerky an hour or two before the wod. Thats about it for me though
  • We did 13.2 yesterday. Not 100% happy with my outcome but considering I've only been CFing for 2mo its not too bad. 126 reps RX. The shoulder to OH was the hardest for me. Had to jerk from the very beginning. I have zero strength in my back. Everything else was easy. Did box jumps the whole time so yayy = )

  • I will have one glass of wine or one beer about every two weeks. I dont really count calories but I dont like drinking the day before I workout. So I drink the night before a rest day.
  • throw it out a window!!! I have been doing crossfit for a couple months and have actually gained 7lbs. But I look 10000 times better. I mean, just look at my profile picture = ) The scale is evil.

  • I wish I could post pics but it never works. My recent progress is in my profile pic. I've been pregnant every year for the past 4 years. I still have quite a bit of pooch to get rid of, but I'm getting there.

  • it is hard to figure out how to "attack" certain WODs. I kind of feel like I could have pushed myself more during today's WOD (20min AMRAP of 100 jump rope/20 slam balls) I only did 7 1/2 rds. Started off with the 20lb slamball and moved down to the 15. I'm kicking myself for not sticking with the 20. 15 is so easy for me…
  • Dates!!! 70cal per date. I can easily sit down and kill a whole package of dates. I don't buy them anymore.
  • lol, they dont post our WODs until we get there as well. I like it that way. I would psych myself out if I knew the next days WOD was a killer.
  • Power snatches are quite possibly my least fav lift!!!. Granted I just started and am only doing #45 snatches, but still. We had a WOD where did 21,18,15,12,9 snatches this past tuesday. I almost died OHS are hard but I dont mind them as much. Kind of excited to do them since I just moved up from doing it with only a #35…

  • welcome!! I was vegan for 5years (even interned with PETA and all that) and vegetarian for 3 years. Now I've been paleo for 6months and started crossfit almost 2 months ago. I have NEVER felt better in my life!!

  • yea, I think I've been slacking. Its hard to have that extra umph when your up all hours of the night with an infant. Today I'm sore though =D As odd as it sounds, I had a little espresso before my workout and kicked butt!!
  • I live in Georgia. The place I go to is the cheapest around although I got lucky with a grand opening price, they are planning to raise their prices soon. Most places around here are $150/mo.

  • ugh, I think I need to push myself harder. We did 18min AMRAP of 5x hang cleans (45#), 10x push press (35#) and 150m run. I did 7 rounds. Afterwards I did 4x 15 toes to rings and 3min L hold for time (32 sec, 37sec and 1min). My abs are a tiny bit sure but thats about it. I'm going to try and step it up tomorrow.

  • I think the first one I did was the worst ever, but I was really out of shape. If I remember correctly it was 450m run, 5 deadlifts, 10 box jumps, 20 slam balls, 30 wall balls, 20 slam balls, 10 box jumps, 5 deadlifts and another 450m run. I seriously almost died.
