And muscles tend to hold on to water the days your exercising to repair themselves. When you give yourself much needed rest days, you lose some of that water. You're doing fine! :)

Amen! #2 bugs the crap out of me. My mom passed away Thanksgiving morning 2009. I KNOW people meant well when they said "She's in a better place," but I kept having to restrain myself from asking how they know. That sounds mean, doesn't it? :/

I am just like you - clumsy! I'm one of those who will be walking down the street and literally trip over air. My niece does it, too, and my sister swears she's really MY child! lol! Just go do your step class.....you might fall a couple of times, but eventually you'll get the hang of it. :)

I almost always eat at least HALF of mine. Some days, like today, have been super busy for me and I am having trouble getting the other calories in because I honestly just want to go to bed! lol I guess I have a spoonful of peanut butter or a handful of nuts in my immediate future.

I always log my food right before I eat it. I started doing that because the first day I ate my usual foods and it was a HUGE eye-opener about how many calories (not to mention carbs, sugar and fat!) I was putting in my mouth. And I wasn't good with measurements at all - so I would put my food in, adjust the measurements…

I'm 5'3" and 128 now. I started at 135. I hate how every single bit of weight I gain goes right around my middle because there's really nowhere else for it to go. :/ So, I'm working on the tummy (as much as you can possibly target one area) and getting healthier.

I had forgotten about homemade applesauce. I used to do that for my kids when they were little.....just blend up regular food and give it to them. It tastes so much better than store-bought and is much healthier - for them and us! Thanks for the reminder!

I started it 2 days ago and level one is kicking my butt! It's a great workout and you can buy the dvd at Wal-Mart, Target, etc. for about $9. You should give it a go!

I've always been told that you burn more fat if you cardio and strength training at the same time. I just started the 30-Day Shred with Jillian Michaels and she does this. Give it a try - it's like $9 at Wal-Mart, Target...wherever....and it's a workout! Good luck! I'm working on my jelly abs, too! :smile:

I do the same thing Carter does - 0.5 or 0.25 to make it half or a quarter of a serving. Also, you can put in 1.5 if you eat 1 and 1/2 cups of something that says a serving is one cup (or whatever).

Haha! Yes, I do it often. My son loves it and has no idea that it's lower in calories that the old way his grandma used to do them. :)

I understand completely. Do what makes you feel better. I will add a personal note, though: I always feel better after I work out on those days - it makes my cramping feel better.
