When I first began using a treadmill I used to hold on. I felt I couldn't walk on an incline without holding on. Now 8 months later and I walk on the max incline 15.0 and 4.0kph without holding on for as long as I want without holding on. Just a confidence thing for me.

I'm 5ft9 and weight the same as you and my BF is 30%!! Anyway, I'm eating 2000 at the moment and not really dropping much. Good luck.

I started running in September. I clocked up 95 miles upto 31/12/13. I'm setting no targets for 2014 only to not over do it and get my rest in which will enable me to run more.

Just.....don't get bored. Before taking up running (When I too considered myself too fat to run) I walked 45-60 minutes on a treadmill 5 days a week. You just do it!! I'd tell myself that with every step I was getting closer to my goal. Of course, it does get boring is the reality. Set 5 minute goals. For example, 0-5…

How much do you weigh? The time frame you state is very achievable for 16-24 weeks yes depending on a few things. What cardio are you doing and to what intensity? Are you lifting? Do you understand the concept of eating back (Either all or a % of your exercise calories?)

Im sorry but how can you claim to understand nutrition if your happy eating so few calories. Your protein seems quite low too. All my opinion of course and I presume the doctor(s) who recommended 800 cals have been struck off now yes? Look, I'm all for support but something seems wrong somewhere.

It's my most difficult time too. Now when it gets to about 9pm I brush my teeth!! Works for me hopefully you too.

Timing of meals won't make any difference either. I'd say to eat a bit less too.

In May, weighing in at 266, I would've said August 2007. I was 210, confident and turning heads (Or, as a guy, I like to think :) ) However, now weighing 210 again, with serious aspirations to get to my GW of 196, I have to say right here right now!!!!

Well I've just posted my info on there and it's given me a bmr of 3431 with Harris-benedict and a TDEE of 4588 so it's safe to assume I won't be paying any attention to that.
