I agree! Weights, weights, weights! And don't be afraid to eat more carbs. I do a carb cycling approach and it has helped me tremendously :) And yes. Patience. It takes time! It's taken me a couple of years to start to see my muscles :)

I'm training for a competition with my husband. He's actually going to be competing. I'm not. I would like to try next year but I want to see if I have what it takes! I have heard of bodybuilders and fitness models eating gummy bears. And I have seen huge guys at the gym drink a 2 liter of Mountain Dew! Why is that? :) I love Sour Patch kids!

Eggs are an excellent source of protein and good cholesterol! I eat 3 a day along with my oatmeal for breakfast. I am definitely and egg girl! (just eggs...nothing extra!)

Usually 1-2 cheat MEALS (not days) a week. I space them out. Kicks your metabolism into high gear. IMO cheat meal is a must! :)
