I don't mean to be so harsh, but why should he marry you? He's already reaping most of the benefits of marriage already. IF marriage is your focus, (and while it may be not his focus ) than you need to have a serious discussion with him about that, and by all means...PLEASE don't buy a house when things are as uncertain as…

Couldn't agree with this more...

I have done Ripped in 30, its a great workout and a little more intense than 30 day shred...*excellent workout*. For the past month, I've been doing Jilian's YOGA meltdown in place of the Yoga for p90X,....let me just say, Jillian's YOGA is certainly not for PUNKS  :noway: It's indeed a challenging workout and I can…

Perhaps, the most economical choice may be just to get a prepaid phone in anticipation for such emergencies. EVEN if your minutes are used up, you'll always be able to call "911".

I agree you will need a heart rate monitor, Tony often refers to whether or not you're in your "zone" (i.e. fat burning zone) during the workouts. It's also a good way to ensure you're getting the most out of the workouts if you need to step it up a notch or vice versa. I generally record my P90X workouts under…

A life without chocolate?....say it ain't so.

I'd also recommend the Polar FT7, I love mine, but I'm pretty biased. A great place to get feedback on all the models is Amazon -user reviewers, and even youtube reviews. You'll get a pretty good idea between the two if something is worth spending the money .... Good Luck!

Can you tell me is this a 30 day challenge, like the 30 day shred....if so, what is the structure? 1 -2 off days? Thanks in advance.

I set my alarm at 5:00 am most days and try to knock out a 60 minute workout first thing in the morning, or like last night got it in at 10:30 p.m. There's ALWAYS time during the day, the problem is convincing yourself of it otherwise.

You have an Amazing story, and you are soo inspiring!! But what I can't get over is the fact that you're OVER 50??? You darn sure don't look any way near 50! *WOW* You look AWESOME! Congrats on your journey thus far :drinker: :drinker:

I have to agree with the poster that originally posted this, IT is an ACTUAL condition, I noticed that I would have horrible itching in my legs and thighs when running outdoors usually in spring and after not consistently working out... some say to use an antihistamine to treat it, when this happens. Hope it helps...

I found this review on Amazon: (NOT ME) However, I think its sums it up pretty fairly... This review is from: Jillian Michaels: Yoga Meltdown (DVD) I'm starting from the standpoint of years of yoga practice and having taught Pilates professionally for seven years: needless to say, the boot camp style of "Biggest Loser"…

Well, I've also done Jillian's Shred and Ripped in 30 workouts, and if you've done those two workouts you'll find alot of the moves are repeated in the beginner workout, such as the plank-twists (which are challenging) downward dog, chatarunga (sp) push ups etc. Ripped in 30 (IMO) was plank-heavy...and you'll find those…

Wow, I'm glad to come across this group. Actually I just completed my last run for C25K today! I've also been doing the P90X program and absolutely hate the YOGA portion and had started substituting JM Yoga for it instead. So far I like it, I feel it gives me a workout -however with the P90X program I'm only doing Yoga…

WOW Great Job Debs6!! CONGRATULATIONS on being a C25k Grad~:drinker: :drinker: :drinker: :flowerforyou: That's so wonderful, well this holiday week has taken its toll on me - but I did just literally finish week 8, day 3 just a few moments ago! I managed to get in day 2 yesterday... thanksgiving was rough, but I'm so glad…

Hello Everyone! Well week 8, Day 1 -went down! I had to actually use a jogging knee brace to get through today's run, and I can tell it made all the difference. I will likely use it for the remainder of the program, I may use two, I guess all the stress from this and P90X, has put a bit of strain on my aging knees !…

Hi Felicity! That's so wonderful that you started the program!! It's great- I think if you stick with it, you'll be surprised at how far you''ve come! Unfortunately the title of this particular thread, is a little mis-leading....most of the participants on this thread currently are in the later stages of the C25k program.…

Hi Good People!! I'm still here! still at it! Today is Day 17 for me (Shoulder and Arms) ...lately I've been getting my workouts in late in the evening. However, I was a little confused as to if were using the Team X group or this thread for check ins? Glad to know folks are still at it!
-
Well done!! That's so awesome:drinker:

Hello Good People I'm actually somewhere between 5.2" and 5'3", currently 179 and looking to get down to 135 (then we'll see what happens). I'm 39 years old and my weight loss has been slow, I'm thinking that may have something to do with age. But slow and steady wins the race! Glad to be apart of this group!
-
Hello -just an update- Week 7, Day 2 down! 35 minutes, 295 calories burned (yay) ...distance of 2.20, I bumped up the speed a tad to 4.1 and walking 3.0. The amazing thing is that I think that the 30 minute runs for next week won't be so bad, I actually felt that I could do more today! So we'll see what happens …
