a heart rate monitor. Get one that records you weight AND gender for best accuracy.

I agree you will need a heart rate monitor, Tony often refers to whether or not you're in your "zone" (i.e. fat burning zone) during the workouts. It's also a good way to ensure you're getting the most out of the workouts if you need to step it up a notch or vice versa.

I generally record my P90X workouts under cardiovascular option on MFP, using the calories burned from my HRM. I know Polar has several good HRM's. I'm partial to the FT7. However you can find reviews of various HRM's on amazon.

Good Luck and be sure to Bring it! ;)
  • Yah i think im going to get the heart-rate moniter, thanks for the advice.

Like everyone else HRM is the best way to go. I have the Polar Ft4 once I figured it out I love it!!! I had one from Walmart called sportsline. I had a lot of issues of it registering properly.
