Yum! I'm a lacto/ovo vegetarian, so eggs and whatnot are good for me! Although Ive been drinking almond milk, because regular milk is just nasty tasting and i need calcium! Good ideas though! And all simple, non-packaged food. I love hummus!

Wouldn't this do something horrible to your metabolism? I wouldn't want to fast and end up slowing down my metabolism in the long run...

Check out Happy Herbivore, its a plant-based oil-free diet plan. Its technically vegan but not labeled as such, and it puts more emphasis on eating whole plant based foods!

Easy no measuring breakfast: handfull or so of oats (around a 1/4-1/2 cup oats, but who measures these things?) bout 10 or so raisins bout 1/2-2/3 cup of Almond Breeze Vanilla low sugar almond milk! Zap it for 3 minutes ( i usually pack my lunch during this 3 minutes) and boom!

Whenever I have a crazy craving for something I try and eat a healthy replacement of that thing. Like when I really want chocolate I'll have a cup of hot chocolate or a piece of dark chocolate instead of a brownie. When I really want ice cream instead of breaking out the Ben and Jerrys I make myself frozen banana ice cream…

I'm 5'3" and 140 pounds and I'm trying to eat 1200 calories a day, but I find I keep going over to around 1300, to stay satisfied, which in all respects isn't bad. I'm new here though, so i'm hoping to see some sort of improvement!
