Ladies that are 5'4 - 5'6 in height, 135 - 145 lbs. in weight - how many calories to you eat to lose?
I tried to eat 1200 on non-workout days, but I found myself a bit too hungry. So I've recently upped it to 1300 (non-workout) and around 1500 (workout days).
I'm 5'5, 140 lbs. and have been stuck here for a while - despite very careful diet and exercise. Just want to see what you girls around my size are doing!

I've been eating 1600. I'm 35... 5'5", 137 lbs now. I lift heavy weights for 20 minutes 3x a week and have 3 miles walk 6-7 days a week (sometimes a bit more). I weigh all my food. Lost 3 lbs last month eating 1600... won't eat less.0

I'm always surprised at the variation in calorie input for people around the same size - but muscle mass and output really make a difference. I'm 5'5'' and in maintenance with a 130-135 window and eat about 1800 a day (scale says 24% bf, and visual comparison to pictures suggests that's probably the correct ballpark). I don't vary workout days to non-workout days, unless I go on a really epic hike, then I'll throw in a little extra. When I was losing I ate about 1500, but my highest weight was 150 so I was always aiming to lose rather slowly.0

I'm 5'3" and 140 pounds and I'm trying to eat 1200 calories a day, but I find I keep going over to around 1300, to stay satisfied, which in all respects isn't bad. I'm new here though, so i'm hoping to see some sort of improvement!0

I'm 5'6", 145 pounds. I eat 1200 calories a day and eat back 50% of my exercise calories. I work out 4 to 5 times a week with 40 minutes of moderate lifting and 30 minutes of light cardio. Trying to lose five to ten more pounds.0

5'5" 134. I eat between 1300-1400 cal a day and typically get in at least 30 minutes of good exercise 6x a week. I've lost about 6lbs in two months, so not huge progress but I only had 10lbs to lose when I started.0

5'2.5"-134 lb. consumption of 1650 cal per day, moderate workout combo of cardio and weights for 5 days a week for 2.5 hours a day. I just recently started and I am seeing a huge different. I eat about 3-4 times a day and snack 2 times a day. Its not good to go under go consumption of calories per day due to your body will start going into starvation mode. Your body will feel hungry, could go into starvation mode. Which makes your body retain fat cells, making it harder to lose weight especially on stubborn areas. You need to know the areas you are trying to target and the correct routines for those areas. Normal diet intake for calories is 1500, regular daily intake is 2500.0
