Is this a food you added yourself or just searched for? A lot of people add foods on here with inaccurate info...

I am a big beer drinker. But lately I have chosen drinks with less cals. A gin n tonic is a good choice.

You may be right Also - True, except synthetics

I agree. I've never seen your diary, but you don't want to stray from what your body is used to when competing in anything. You may get bloated, experience a drop in energy levels, etc. No bueno. Stick to what you normally eat and if you are gonna make any changes to your diet do it at a later time.

It's simple supply and demand. As demand goes up and supply can't keep up the price goes up. Also when farmers don't use pesticides or GMOs they have a tougher time with pests and growing food that is "perfect" in the eyes of the consumer. That means they have more waste and less that they can sell. So what they do sell…

Kara, a pelvic tilt is caused by sitting for too long. I have a desk job too so I have to make sure to get up and move every hour, and I do some exercises during the work hours that target my glutes and abs. Also I do some stretches and rolling for my upper thigh/hip area and lower back. It's easy to do and becomes routine…

Yeah you can kill two birds with one stone by using epsom salt. Great way to get magnesium and also good for body aches. As far as being tired goes, could be a number of things. Do you get up at all at work and move around? How much sleep do you get a night?

I pre-log the night before. Works for me

Do you have a desk job? If you do it might be a pelvic tilt...

You have a desk job, right? That could be it. Do you get up and move around at all during work? Being sedentary is an energy killer. I have the same problem, desk job. So I make sure to get up every hour and move around, stretch, do some vacuums, whatever. Protein and fat in the morning will boost your energy levels.…

Protein shake for me lately. I was doing IF for some time so I usually didn't eat breakfast. But now that I do I feel that I have more energy in the morning and sustained energy throughout the day. A make a Gironda protein shake with heavy whipping cream, raw eggs, some protein powder and water plus some enzymes. Tastes…

I just watched it. No one in the study was allowed to exercise or walk more then 2 miles a day. One guy increased his BMR by 30% in 4 weeks while doing nothing but eating 2x his TDEE, incredible. Also interesting is a separate experiment in which an overweight man fasted for a year and lost over 200 lbs.

Prevention is the way to go. Eat something greasy before going to bed, down plenty of water as well, and take some Advil and a vitamin B complex. When you wake up slam a smoothie with coconut water, kale, baby spinach, berries, banana, etc.

You might consider looking into these, especially if you enjoy being in the water. https://aqualogixfitness.com/

Ya power lifting is great for MMA. So is swimming, calisthenics, etc. Just be sure not to over train!! Be sure to tell your MMA instructors about your other activities as well

I just throw kale into a nutribullet with a bunch of other stuff and make smoothies everyday. It's good if you don't like kale but want the benefits because you can't even taste it if you add the right stuff

It would be interesting to see if it can stand up to a martial arts workout, wouldn't it? Maybe we can volunteer to beta-test it for them
