Exactly this. I just went for it. I was 5'7 and 285lbs when I joined. I've lost almost 60lbs joing that gym. I jump, I run, I do weights and everything jiggles. I'm there to do this for me not to be concerned with anyone elses business. If I notice anyone looking my way I just smile and continue on.

If you get really bored doing strictly cardio by walking, elliptical etc. why not try watching a show while you are moving? It may keep your mind focused enough to get in a 30min program. Just focus on eating healthy and keep active as long as you feel comfortable enough to do so. You shouldn't be trying to lose weight while pregnant unless you have a medical condition and have spoken to your doctor regarding this.

This. When my little guy was younger I'd plan my workout around his lunch/snack time. He'd be in his highchair eating/snacking and I'd be doing my workout while he watches me. I may have to cut the workout short sometimes but meh that's just the way it is. Now that he's almost 3 that is a total different story..... LOL

I normally wash my hair after every workout. I have really curly hair and it just frizzs and looks horrible if it isn't controlled - I thought a workout last week didn't warrent a full wash so I left it.. ya... I wasn't looking so good at the end of the day. Ha! I've never tried dry shampoo - maybe something to look into.

I hear ya. I watch my tv shows while I'm on the treadmill using my ipod. However If I'm going for a run I put on my music instead - can't focus otherwise. lol

With a head cold I always work out. It really does help! If it's a stomach bug I do not workout.

Yes. Started at 325lbs and I'm at 233lbs. I've been at this for 13months. Still a ways to go but I'm loving the progress I've made. To think how I'll feel months from now... :)

The gym I go to is between two doggie spas. LOL The other buildings in the strip include a chiropractor, pizza place and a hair salon.
