You've already done the hardest thing, you've signed up and you're seeking out support. Motivation is the biggest hurdle in weight loss, IMO. Sounds like it's a big one for you too. What works for me is setting small goals, they're easier to accomplish and happen faster (as opposed to looking at the big picture of losing…

My best advice to you is to stay off the forums. People in here are awful. While you may be venting or seeking for others with partners who don't understand the trials and tribulations of weight loss to empathize with. You won't be finding it on the forums. People who troll the forums aren't supportive or helpful. Neither…

Hi! You've got your work cut out for you. Trying to diet and take care of a baby is a task as well as living with those who have bad habits. I've done both of these and it's not easy but it's doable. Joining MFP is a great place to start. There is tons of support on here. You've got an add from me! Good luck hon!

You shouldn't be dieting during your postpartum period because your body needs to repair itself. You also need to eat enough to sustain nursing. Your body has gone into starvation mode and is holding onto everything it can because it's not bringing in enough to sustain itself. Let yourself eat and heal. I had a baby 2…

Bring a few string cheeses, nuts, some sliced apples, an orange, banana, and try to pack a lunch to eat on your break. I gained a lot of weight when i worked in fast food. Find where you are (like 1350 that you referenced) and reduce down by 25 each rest day. It will give you time to figure out what works with less…

Lately I have been doing fruit and some nuts, or string cheese and fruit (this one keeps me under 200 calories for that meal). I have also done oatmeal with brown sugar and nuts (this is around 350 but SUPER yummy!).

The fact that my thighs rub together. My pants spring holes because of the friction, which costs me money. When fatness costs me money for clothes, and not because I've changed sizes, that is like paying fat tax....
