This! Best!

I was rather large when I started. Walking and diet were the only two options. Walking leads to more things though!

I like it BUT am irritated by the less than stellar design of the wrist strap. This winter putting and and taking of layers and coats I have lost the darn thing in sleeves and gloves. I also wish it had a heart rate monitor. I end up with 2 wrist watches all the time during my workout and rides. So, for 'normal' daily…

Not being able to fit in amusement park rides with my kids; not being able to zip line or horseback ride on vacation; not being able to go hiking.

I use the fridge on the 1st floor - I am on the 4th. That way I have to take stairs to and from my snack. No one sees and I get exercise in.

I just want cookies. Honest

Great job and thanks for sharing. I, too, didn't notice it since, to me, it took a long time. Many others noticed and that made it work for me. Love the new smile! Can't wait to see the HUGE smile when you realize YOU DID IT and can do whatever you put your mind to! Before and after (during?) photos are a nice touch to…

What if it is cold out?

I gave myself some good rewards... new bicycle, bike clothing, travel, etc ONLY if I made weight/exercise goals. I mean, we work like fools for other rewards (ribbons/certificates) why not make it something REAL that you want.

Jinx. Owe me a drink!

I was the same way. Bored with the gym, tired of walks, etc. I used to ride bikes so I figured I would give it a go. Got a decent ride and some nice accessories and I have yet to look back. For me, it was getting the right tool to do the job. My old bike was a lot of work. My new one is fun. I also recently got a REAL pair…

Looks like what I need to do. I am 6' and started at near 270lb. I am 199 now and have been for nearly 2 years. Can't seem to get lower but not sweating it too much. Portion size. Cut most of the snacks and crap. I started with Weight Watchers and had an awesome group and awesome leader. A year of WW got me down to 210ish.…

It is the only place I can run. I like the cushion of the track as well as the built in counting ;-) I move over a lane each lap. I end up anywhere from 3-4 miles. I use head phones so boring scenery isn't the issue. It has proven a blessing to my old knees vs sidewalk or road.

I was thinking more along the lines of a new type of sun dial.

Depends on what planet they are on. ;-)

The amount is so small. I had a Dr show me research on the subject (need to keep that link handy). But I guess some is better than none...

I, too, have been 'stuck' since November (nearly 7months) just CAN NOT get out of the weight range I am in. I also take measurements (havta post thme sometime I guess) and not much has changed. I would really like to break 200 with a goal of 185 or so. If anyone has a way to break a plateau please share!
