Those are the BEST NSV. I just got all my belts back from the tailor. Dropped them from 44/46 down to 36. You are doing awesome! Keep it up!

Great results! Keep it up! I'd fire your photoshop person though ;-)

First, congrats on your loss! What the wife and I did was hit kohls. I went from a 44 waist to 38 and needed new pants. I even dropped from an XL shirt to L! Kohls has current fashions at a decent price PLUS we always go with our 30% off coupon and/or Kohls' cash. I didn't replace EVERYTHING as I plan on dropping a few…

Ah, the old guessing routine. Want exact results but don't keep measurements and such. Hmmm.... I was AMAZED at how fast a little snack here and little snack there adds up.

I need to find that article again. The amount of fat that muscle burns is so insignificant by itself. It is the training and diet (diet = being what you take in NOT a fly-by-night-eating-program) that do the best. Rarely if EVER do you see someone who is very muscled say 'gee, now i have 1% BF and all muscles I don't need…

This. Tough to go to bed 'hungry' or what my body has thought 'hungry' is.

Wow. I could have written this. We are weight loss twins. I have been stuck as well but now working with a person who gave me a Metabolic Assessment I am eating MORE and losing again. go figure

I weigh myself every day BUT I don't worry about the day to day fluctuations. I am a data junkie. I use Libra on my phone and it has a nice trend line calculation - THAT is what I look at. I also don't try to eat less than 1750 calories. Had a Metabolic Assessment Profile done recently which gave me more numbers and data…

I'll make you a deal on my slightly used Polar FT7 since I want to buy an FT80 now..

But... how to you stumble upon this? There is SO much information out there how did you discover what worked? I am not looking for a short-cut just suggestions on how I can research smarter.

I only use New Balance. It is a personal preference though. Best thing to do is find a runners store in your area where they have a variety of brands and styles. Fit, support, and comfort should rule over manufacturer. THAT being said, I have tried Asics, Nike, and Addidas, none fit me as well as NB. My running, hiking,…

Let me know when you get to 4 months... I was 210 Nov 2... am 208 this morning. I still would like to drop another 20-25 but am focusing on fun and activity. I figure the last bunch will go when it is good and ready. My weight loss has allowed me to do so much more than before. Don't make weight your goal - make health!…

This. Hard to verify that in the winter. Personally and honestly I try no to judge. I was big at one time mostly due to inertia. Some folks might say I am still too large (I am still 'overweight by BMI standards) A friend of mine is big because of a major medical condition. Not much right now she can do in her live do to…

Thanks for sharing esp the details!

Drives me NUTs when I am in a meeting with people who do this! Calm down ;-) Seriously, move when you can how you can. Take stairs . Park far. Walk to a park for lunch.
-
Move out. I did. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. The only person you have no choice to live with the rest of your life is yourself.

Ditto. Daily.

I blew my knee out doing a 5K and was out for 2 months. I just really watched what I ate and took care of my knee. I figured being out a few months is better then being out of the game forever. Patience is biggest key. Let the knee heal. Look up foods that help with healing - lots of good articles on the net.

I just got a FT7 off of eBay and LOVE it. I even bought the sensor pad since I am too lazy to add stats manually to the exercise site.

THIS. Just don't understand eating to lose weight. I have been tracking since last Feb and am down from 270 to 210. Been 210 more or less since the beginning of Nov '12. Can't seem to bust through this plateau.
