I am fighting to get the last 20 lbs off. I am going to add more weight training since I already do a lot of cardio. Iwas out on my bike on Grant's Trail the other night testing out my winter riding gear. I love to ride and walk so THAT is all good. Now to add swimming and weights. Gotta get the WHOLE body involved.

Awesome! I think the NSV are the rewards as they tend to come as surprises. I, too, had not worn 'work clothes' for the last 3 months of 2012 (dress down stuff OK'd). When I went to put on some khakis last week ALL were too big! Great feeling even after going to the store to buy more pants! Keep on losing! Great…

Lol. When I ride my bike for SPEED that is what I have playing! Har!

With the fitness clubs having a deal AND being open 24hrs it was hard for me to justify a purchase. I got a year membership. Now I get out of the house (away from pantry and fridge) and not only do an elliptical but other weights as well.

A week? The first THREE weeks of WW I went up. THEN once my body got used to exercise and eating right the pounds started coming off. Come back to the discussion in a month if you have the same issue - and also open your food diary.

I was addicted to Pepsi growing up.. then coffee in the Army and College. I tried to cut out the soda and caffeine but that didn't make me a nice person to be around and I was always sluggish and had a headache. I knew it was the caffeine. I changed to Diet Soda, about MAYBE 1 can/day. And I have cut coffee way down as…

I gave up 'giving up' and just watch the intake. I found, at least for myself, if I told myself NO then when the opportunity struck I would try to sneak one...or two. By NOT having them at home (cookies/candies) I limit my intake (I work from home a lot). If I want a treat I walk the 2+ mile round trip to store and back. I…

I watch my intake a bit cause on the days that I eat a lot of fruit the carbs/sugars add up. WW considers them 'free' but once I added them back in (ie Banana is 3 points, Apple is 1, etc) I started dropping pounds. Even 'free' things have a cost. Just my $0.02

I have been 'stuck' at my weight now for nearly 2 months.. still losing pant sizes and increasing my exercise. I suspect it is muscle (I can only hope!). I decided to start tracking my body fat % as well as weight. Be patient too. Been on a few long plateaus over the year of weight loss, and then dropped. Sometimes our…

Great example to show that this stuff works! You, and your photos, are an inspiration.

Wonder if they though of this when they named their exercise routine...

Ditto. Also, on vacations I can zip line, ride horseback, use a jet ski and all the other activites that weight was the limiting factor. I really, really enjoy vacations now!

I have moved to sprints on my stationary bike. Been getting good results. Since the bike is 'level' all the time easier to maintain a high speed vs outfdoors. Outside I usually go for time and distance.

Working out has got me hooked on Tuna.

When I was on WW I actually went UP the first three weeks. Now 10 months later I am just shy of 60lb down. Patience. And you will hit plateaus throughout your journey. And weight loss should only be ONE part of an overall goal of getting healthy. Best of luck and hang in there!

it is so interesting to follow her taste in music. She learned many of the scores from batman, LOTR, Wicked, and now she is on to music in the games she plays. Will be a different, quieter home once she goes of to college in the fall

My wife... hers is 10/10 mine is 11/11 (we tried to get married on 9/9 or 12/12 both dates didn't work out).

Don't go with food. I find putting my headphones on, cranking the tunes, and going for a walk a great refresher. I just focus on the walking and music. I come back and feel much better. find your self a non-food way to deal with issues.

Hi, new to MFP but been on WW for a year. Started at about 265 and am down to 209. I don't look at it as a diet, for a diet is a short-term view of things, I looked at as a lifestyle change. Just as people quit smoking or drinking I gave up excess. Under WW I can eat anything as long as I was willing to pay (ie points) for…

Daily. Once a month at the gym I go to. I get an 'official' measurement for my record.

Awesome! Keep up the great work!

Get into the habit of doing the counting, weighing, and exercise every day. Took me about 3 months to get into a routine but now I do each of those and don't even think about them. Your brush your teeth everyday? Put the scale next to where you brush. Carry your phone to do tracking OR paper. Something to make it easy.…

I would look at them as raw numbers. If you do, say 300 Cal worth of exercise today and 315 the next you can see that you did more. Does it matter that is should have been slightly different numbers? Not to me. I really just look at totals and make sure the numbers are good for ME. Does that make sense?

I'll jump in first. I stared WW in Feb of '12. I was at the highest weight I had ever been (270). It had gotten to the point that I could not enjoy vacations with my family due to my weight. No zip lines, horseback riding, para-sailing. I was fed up with being on the sidelines. My wife also decided she would like to lose a…

I blew off counting points last. Had some interesting and exotic items. I just figured I would just max the day out with 'dinner' Back to counting this morning though.
