Good for you for taking steps to take care of yourself. We all struggle whether it's gaining or losing we all have our own battles and support is huge.

You can do this! Just keep pushing forward and make good choices!

You can add me. I'm always up for new friends. We all have a common goal. Best of luck to you!

Trying to drink 8 glasses of water a day is curbing my appetite quite a bit. Also, try snacking on raw almonds. The flavor is so bland and boring it kind of makes you not want to eat. Another thing you can try is eating every 3 hours or so -7 am Oatmeal for breakfast 10 am fruit for a snack 1 pm some type of protein for…

You sound like me. I also am back on MFP to lose about 20 lbs. I'm 5'1

I see the difference!!! Great work keep it going!

Maybe avoid carbs for the time being. Carbs usually stick to me. Try eating only fresh fruits & veggies and lean meats (not processed foods). Then slowly get back to your old "good" eating habits. Keep running, the cardio should help. Do you tend to gain water weight before your period? Could that be part of it?

I started MFP in 2010 and it helped me so much! I love the accountability plus support is also helpful! I stopped using MFP and old habits have crept back in so here I am again!

I'm glad I found this challenge. I started my fitness journey once again yesterday so the timing is perfect :-) Feel free to add me if you want!

Reducing sodium will probably help. The thing that helped me reduce my stomach the most was cardio. Doing a lot of running. However, it reduced other things as well like my chest.

I don't have the pic on this computer to upload but if you go to my profile there is a pic in my photos it says April 2013 above it. I'm 127 in that pic and look way too thin in my opinion.

Is there really a such thing as "normal" body weight? We're all built differently and carry weight differently. If I followed the BMI I would look like Calista Flockhart.

I'm 5 '1 & 1/2 I'm on the thicker side. When I lose weight my boobs go away too :-( My lowest weight was 130 and although I liked that my legs were tighter and my stomach was gone I wasn't happy with having absolutely no chest. I still had plenty of booty but it wasn't as big as it used to be. For me personally 135-140 is…

If you do social media like Facebook I'd see if your gym has a facebook page and possibly make connections that way. My gym does and people actively post on the page.

How old are your kids? When my daughter was young I got my exercise by roller blading while she rode her bike or taking walks around the block in the evening. You can even just turn music on and dance around with the kiddos for 30 minutes. You can incorporate exercise with the kids. Maybe even get up 30 mins or 1 hour…

Good for you for making the life changes need to be healthy. I'm very glad you took the steps necessary early in life. Some of us don't figure it out until 30, 40, 50.. etc. You have all your "GOOD" years ahead of you ;-) Keep up the good work, set goals, & live life to the fullest!

Wow! I'm very happy that you were able to discover what was medically wrong with you and they were able to make a plan of attack. Good for you for always being a fighter & never giving up. You are an inspiration!

I was fit and training MMA on a daily basis and in the best shape of my life. I had my first MMA fight in April 2013. I went into the fight with a hurt knee and it prevented me from training after my fight. Then July 2013 I broke my hand further delaying my training and general workouts. I slowly got used to just enjoying…

This is the best season of Ultimate Fighter in my opinion! I've watched a lot of the women on the show fight their way to the top. You'll never find the house full of more talented deserving people. There is so much talent in the house that's why the winner gets a belt and they've all been signed to UFC. It's very exciting…

Love is a strong word to use after 2 months. Did he leave her or did she leave him? In what ways is he thinking about her? If he was with her for 7 years they have history and there's nothing you can do to change that. All you can do is go into this relationship hoping for the best. Your relationship will end real quick if…

Good Morning! Today My breakfast and lunch are planned and packed. Nice 30 minute walk scheduled at lunch time and then when I get home from work I'll be going for a run and getting a Muay Thai session in. Can't wait to get off work!

Yes it's pretty similar to kick boxing.

I would like to join. I decided last night it was time to get back on track. I prepped all my food to start fresh Monday and plan on eating clean and working out faithfully until I shed the 15lbs I gained over the last year. I started MFP (again) today to help me reach my goal and I saw your group and well it fits…
