That makes sense and is relieving. Thank you! I did have laparoscopic surgery.

I'm forced to eat at a deficit because I am on a liquid no fat diet (basically all jello and fat free yogurt :/). Dr. said I can't introduce solid foods till after a week. And I have to live on low fat diets to prevent digestion issues apparently. It's difficult for me since I've always been on a balanced diet.

Yeah, I want to wear my graduation dress next year. I'm around 45 kg away from wearing it.

The Dr. refuses to change or reduce my medicine. I tried. I'll still try to exceed 1000 kcal. Thanks for your advice :)

I'm taking medication that makes me gain weight and my metabolism sucks with . I tried 1200 kcal but my weight didn't change. I can only lose weight this way.

Thanks! Never thought of lentil as a source of protein.

Thank you :) I just had hard boiled egg whites this morning. As for dairy, no matter how much I eat, it's not enough protein. Greek yogurt is one of my favorites.

Count me in!

I'm looking to lose a bit more over 100 lbs. I'm counting calories/macros and following a flexible diet. I'll add you on here. I also have kik if you're interested. We could keep each other accountable.

I have bipolar disorder and Generalized Anxiety. The medication I'm taking causes weight gain and I gained 20 kg from it :/ Trying to lose weight while on medication is tough.

Have you tried intermittent fasting?

I have a bit more than 100 lbs to lose. I'll send you a friend request :)

Think of it this way, if you eat way lower than your daily caloric intake, you might slow your metabolism hence hinder your weight loss on the long run. Eat as long as it's below your caloric intake and enjoy it!

For the long term, IIFYM is better since it's more sustainable. Keto is restrictive and impractical since it demands really low carb intake and sometimes that's not good for you. Here is an IIFYM calculator.

Same here. I'll add you :)

Thinking about my future weight loss and all the outfits I'm going to be buying when I hit my goal.

Hi :) I'm also female and an IIFYM/flexible dieter. I'll add you.

Love it. I eat low sugar ketchup though.

I'm on here daily. Anyone is free to add me :)

No tattoos (yet). My mom would kill me :P I've always wanted a tattoo that reflects my passion for neuroscience. I'm a really happy person and serotonin is my favorite neurotransmitter so I'd definitely get a serotonin tattoo to remind me of being happy (feeling good). Just to be clear, it's involved in many different…

Yes! Lost about 23 kg (51 lbs) three years ago and gained 33 kg ( 73 lbs). I was near obesity before, got sick of how I looked, wanted to lose weight for my prom. I starved myself (I would live on cucumbers, water and vitamins), lost most of my hair and was tired all the time but lost weight quickly. When did I start…
