I had wine last night, it was planned, but supposed to be 2 and I had 3. Nursing a headache now, my headache is always over my left eye and forehead up to the top of my head. Does anyone else get a headache in a certain spot after drinking?

I'm so sorry that happened to you. It is horrible that we have predatory people in this world who prey on people when they are vulnerable. She is doing well, we had lunch yesterday, I miss her every day, but I understand why she has chosen to live in a 'sober house' instead of with us for now. She is working the steps with…

@lisamestiza2021 Darn girl! ... that made me cry :( Anything filmed in Britain hits home harder with me, because... well it is home, but in this video, she looks so much like my family member who has just climbed out of that pit and is trying to rebuild her life right now. Thank you for sharing xx

5'2" current weight 133. I had been around 115-120 all of my adult life without trying to gain or lose, until I moved to another country a few years ago, then due to a combination of change of diet and the selection of foods available (and getting a little too happy, content, and lazy), I gained about 20lbs. I want to get…

It makes me really sad that you felt that way. You are right that you shouldn't feel guilty or bad, it sounds like your drinking it right on track for where it should be for YOU. You have a lot going on by the sound of it, I am sorry your surgery recovery is so difficult. Losing weight, being hungry and your body trying to…

I think trying that way and see if it works well for you is a great plan. If it doesn't you can reassess, remember you are the boss, you have the power! Now I have that Snap song going through my head! hahaha I'm gonna make it my song for the day when I do my VR cardio…

@CurseofDolkite Don't let that little voice in your head tell you that you should have quality alcohol if this is your last EVER drink, one day at a time. As the title of this thread says, One Day At A Time. Try thinking of what you can do for your body today, that will make your future, tomorrow self, happy. It is too…

I would never have thought that a thread such as this would have the effect upon my resolve that it has. Again, thank you to @MissMay and to EVERY person who comments here and is sharing their own journey, their own tips, triumphs, and their stumbles. I look forward every day to reading how everyone is doing. February 2/1…

It's similar to 'Wheaton's Law', which I have always been okay with.

Good job on the 10lbs! How long has it been since you last saw a change on the scale? I'm asking because we sometimes think something is wrong when really it is still within the normal range of the start/stop - up/down of a normal weight loss pattern or trend.

Gyms are open here, but I do most of my exercise elsewhere. We go camping most weekends and do a lot of jogging, hiking and I use PowerBeats VR at home, I have some weights and follow some Youtube videos. The gyms have been reopened for a long time, even the classes (most of them) are back on, the sauna is open (I have…

Great job on your progress, especially with that fat % loss!! I imagine we are similar heights as we have very similar goals, I am 5'2.5 inches (I always count that half-inch LOL) I get absolutely bored of my workouts too, I have a weight set at home and a treadmill, but I am always in need of some motivation. I do go to…

Went to the cinema again today - it was one of those that have waiter service and a wine list. Proud to say I did NOT have any wine :) We saw 'Nomadland' with Frances McDormand.

I mostly just use real butter but don't eat a lot of it. I don't use it to cook with, or to put in mashed potatoes. When it comes to buttered toast I use real butter as nothing really quite compares well enough, but I use Challenge lactose-free, which has 50 calories per 14g and is made from butterfat and canola, for my…

February Start Weight: 136 February Goal Weight: 133 Ultimate Goal Weight: 120 February 1: 136 (Trend = 134.6) February 8: 133.2 (Trend = 133.5) February 15: February 22: February 28: I've started paying more attention to trend weight, and Feb 1 was a spike after an injury, so my real weight loss for 1st - 8th is most…

Stay warm and safe @MissMay! I would swap with you if I could. I am making the most of the outdoors here at this time of year because in a few months, when the heat kicks in, I will be stuck indoors for months. We ended up going to the cinema after our walk, to see 'Supernova' - it was so good but so sad. I was still in…

Thanks, I found it in reports

Enjoying all the snowy pictures, and all the useful info and tips in this thread. Hope everyone has a great Sunday whatever your plans may be. I am going walking, and maybe some cycling today as it is sunny and cool enough in the low 70's. February 2/1 - AF 2/2 - AF 2/3 - AF 2/4 - AF 2/5 - 3 wine 2/6 - 1 wine

Does MFP show trans fat at all? I have only one column for fat, and it doesn't say what type, does it have different columns for different types if you are premium? I don't know. Another thing to be aware of - depending on what country you are in, or your food is from, it may say there is no trans fat, but might actually…

February 2/1 - AF 2/2 - AF 2/3 - AF 2/4 - AF 2/5 - 3 wine I would rather last night had only been 2 wines, but I'm glad it wasn't 4, I'll take it as a good week overall so far

First off please don't feel silly for asking, and no there is nothing wrong with asking here. There are a lot of very knowledgeable people on this forum, but please please do make that phone call and try to get some advice from a professional. It is really concerning that the right knee has gotten so much worse, and isn't…

Yes! I have days like that. I find what helps satisfy me is to eat some things that are high protein and high fiber. I will sometimes have bran flakes if I don't have anything prepared. One dish that I like to prep ahead and freeze in portions is a high fiber, high protein chili. I use the usual chili ingredients such as…

I rarely see Quorn where I live now, but when I lived in the UK I used to buy it all the time. My favourite dish to make with the 'chicken' pieces was sweet and sour (not breaded) adding in red peppers, onions, and the tiny little corn cobs (which I also can't get here grrr) and also a tin of sliced water chestnuts and…

After my weird back spasm following yoga while camping I took a few days off. I got back to it yesterday, after my strength training session, I did the little routine that I put together out of moves I learned from YwA. These include a combination of cat/cow, down dogs, warrior 1 & 2 including side stretches, forward…

I like adding plenty of malt vinegar and black pepper to tuna, that way I can get away with less mayo. You could also try the light mayo version as you won't notice the difference as much with the tuna and vinegar - Hellmans 35 cal per tbsp

@Lilylady3k You are so strong! I know if my hubby was pouring himself a wine I would cave, lucky for me he only really drinks beer and I don't like beer. You are an inspiration! @CMB44512 I think you are going through a huge awakening, and it will be so worth it! Couples walk is a good habit to get into. In our first year…

February - Goal 20/28 2/1 - AF 2/2 - AF 2/3 - AF I'm aiming for no more than 2 drink nights per week, those were going to be Fri & Sat, but I saw @MissMay said she aims not to have consecutive nights, which makes a ton of sense, so I will maybe go with Thurs and Sat, or Fri and Sun. Grocery shopping late last night I…

I find it really confusing when they say 'drinks' because it varies so much depending on the % of alcohol and the size of the drink. Some of the best info I have found is on the British NHS site for understanding what a unit of alcohol is, but they have it measured in ml, and I 'think' in fluid oz so I have to convert it.…
