  • Are you getting enough fiber from fruits and veggies? This could cause the tummy issue.
  • Here's a good calculation site to check out, which says you should adjust every 5 lbs lost for continued loss. It will also give you your TDEE. http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ I started out with MFP suggestions on daily intake of calories and wasn't seeing much of a change but once I found this site and…
  • 96 ounces so far:drinker: I've made a conscious effort to try and drink 1 glass (16 ounces) every hour that I'm awake or at least 1 glass for every hour that I'm at work, that way I always get in at least 10 glasses/160 ounces, which is more than enough water for my body weight. I'll throw back even more if I'm working…

  • I love Low fat or greek yogurt (any flavor) with Strawberries & Bananas (or any fruit) in my crepes for a sweet & healthy breakfast (I usually make my own crepes as well and add in a little vanilla flavoring for sweetness). Shredded or chopped (grilled or baked) chicken with Mushrooms and/or spinach and feta or goat cheese…
  • I'm wondering the same thing. I bought a bottle of b-12 tablets to take, but haven't started them yet since I wanted to research it more. Hope we get some good input from our fellow MFP's.

  • Hi, I'm 25 and looking to lose AT LEAST 60 lbs. Once I reach that, I'll re-evaluate and determine if more should go or if I should maintain. I'm currently down 15 lbs since November 2012, so averaging about 5 lbs a month (slow start due to a broken foot  ). Feel free to add me, I'll give support and ideas if needed.…
  • bump. great ideas:smile:
  • Thanks for the comments - I am just starting back again and tying to "cleanse" my palate. When I go over on the calories it's only by 100-200 calories and it's not every day; some days I just seem to be hungrier than others. I'm below calories (50-100 below) on the not-so-hungry days.

  • same here - i am working towards getting back to a size 6 (when i was a 6 i weighed about 145). it's more about how i look at that size than what i actually weigh bc even though i'm 5'3 i carry weight well (meaning i don't look like i weight as much as i do at the time, which is both a blessing and aggravating bc i dont…
  • add more calories to get over your plateau - you have cut your calories and your body is holding onto everything that your'e putting into it.
  • wow i can deffinitely relate to your situation! i gained 50lbs in 4 years bc i sit at a desk 10 hours a day. I would  to lose those 50lbs and weigh what i did when i started my job and i'm doing well but just need to stick with it and increase the excercise. As for your chip cravings i suggest Kellogg's Special K -…
  • Smaller meals throughout the day seem to help me get over my hunger pains. I have found that eating a good breakfast really helps me to stay full for about 2-3 hours. My favorite is Eggo Nutri grain waffles toasted (which are whole grains and low fat ) with 2 tbsp of peanut butter spread on them ( i  Peter…

  • not sure if it's unhealthy for you or not, but it does seem to jump start the metabolism when you eat "bad" food one day a week. I've done it and it seems to help. a couple of my co-workers have been doing it as well and they said that it helped them to get past their plateau weight and lose a few more pounds when they…

  • hang in there! i started this "new way of living" back in January and i've only lost 5 punds:cry: but i've lost inches everywhere! just because you're not losing lbs fast doesnt mean your not losing inches. Stick with it, drink lots of water even if you dont think you're thirsty and keep tracking all your food…

  • I havent quit consuming coffee completely but i have cut my consumption amount. I've also switched from sugar to Splenda ( & only 1 packet of that). I've found that the hardest part is finding a lower calorie creamer to use:grumble: the options are fat free or sugar free and of course it can't be together in the same…
