I assembled 60 quilt blocks.. half the planned quilt.. Taught a freezer paper applique class, and have been working on another 12 blocks for said quilt.

Thank you for the OP!! I'm 59, and am shooting for an 80 lb. loss ultimately.. It's nice to know that it's possible to lose the weight and have a 'good' body at the end. I've been concerned about loose skin, frankly..

Not encouraging you to do this often, but I've found that sometimes after the days I overdid it, I actually showed a weight loss.. I think the body needs to be assured that it's not on the brink of starvation. So, a few extra calories occasionally actually helps rather than hurts..

I've had this same problem with my right ankle only.. I've lost 17 lbs. and that ankle doesn't swell nearly as badly. Admittedly, I had more problems in the summer.. so I'm waiting to see what happens as the weather warms.. But it does seem that weight loss has mitigated things significantly..

I'm not tellin', too embarrassed.. I think so, I do use full fat options, because of the sugar in most low fat options, and I do use butter sparingly.. Plenty of sleep.. Fiber is good, I eat fruits and vegetables, too..

Carbs put me to sleep.. A potato is as good as anesthesia.. and it works just about as fast.. I find I do much better on an all protein breakfast..
