I'm having trouble finding any health food websites that I like. Does anyone have any suggestions? or recipes of your own you want to share with me?

I love this site. cookinglight.com0

ohsheglows.com has amazing vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free recipes if you're into that kind of thing. Also -- smoothies and desserts galore0

Skinnytaste.com and eatingwell.com and big oven0
-
Thanks everyone! I'll keep those in mind0

Itsjenetics1 That was a nice website you recommended cookinglight.com. They show the calories for the dish your making. I think I'll be using it :-)0

Skinnytaste - http://www.skinnytaste.com/
Emily Bites - http://www.emilybites.com/
Prevention RD - http://www.preventionrd.com/
Eat Yourself skinny - http://www.eat-yourself-skinny.com/
All of these sites are excellent! And all of them give you the nutritional info for each recipe. Some are even already listed in the MFP database  I love to cook and I pretty much live off of these sites lately. If you're cooking your own meals I've found that you can eat a lot more, and with greater taste & variety staying within your calorie goals.
I live alone, so I typically only make 2 or 3 recipes a week, then the leftovers become my lunches all week long.
Enjoy! :drinker:0 -

What?! 2 people listed this website so I decided to check it out... but... it won't let me view any of the recipes! It says you need to pay a membership fee! That's a huge bummer! The stuff looks good, healthy and low cal... but there are plenty of healthy recipe sites out there that are totally free. I'm kinda shocked :sad:0 -
ITs sneaky.... It is optional to donate money.... I do not pay for it & I use it daily!

Hey!
I love JAMIE EASON, she's the female spokes model for Bodybuilding.com and she has a banging 90 day challenge with free videos, workouts , food lists and recipes! I cook her carrot cake protein bars all the time and her chili and the Italian turkey burgers and turkey muffins/meatloaf muffins! Check her out! http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/jamie-eason-livefit-recipes-main-page.html
Also Pinterest has great photo ideas and links to recipes!
Have fun, Shannon ATL!0 -

OH! Ok... I saw where it asked how much you'd be willing to pay, but figured $0 was not an option... LOL. I'm going to try again because it really does look good! Thanks!!0 -
For Desserts http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/
I just made the "Better"Finger Bars- boyfriend now thinks I am a magician for making homemade candy bars. I didn't even tell him it was only 115 cals.0 -
Skinnytaste for sure. I also use kailynskitchen, com. She does South Beach, but I've still been able to use lots of her healthy recipes. I also love punchfork.com. It aggregates all the recipes that people are sharing. I usually search the site for "skinny" or "light" and it shows you lots of healthy recipes! Most of the sites people have already mentioned here are on Punchfork.0

For me, the best is
fatfreevegan.com

I *adore* 100daysofrealfood.com. You'll find she uses, well, real food in her recipes. The comments - and she can get 100+ - are gold too, because they are people who've made modifications for dietary, allergy, taste, etc. reasons. I aim to stay away from processed foods as much as possible. It gets easier over time, but I won't lie: I do like a Thin Mint or two (okay, a sleeve, there, I said it!).
That said, the site above typically doesn't have nutritional information, but there are calculators online where you can input the recipe and find out calories, etc.0 -
skinnytaste.com has some wonderful recipes as well as emilybites.com. Happy cooking!0
