January 13: One one-minute plant. Two 30-second planks. I almost gave up. Crawled in to bed. Layed there. Got up. Planks complete. *sigh*

January 12: Four 30-second planks. I DISLIKE planks! DISLIKE! DISLIKE! DISLIKE! I wait until the very last minute to squeeze these in. Nothing about them feels good. They are hard. They are exhausting. I feel like I'm losing the battle. I feel like my body is betraying me. I want these to be easier. But day after day, they…

It's 2 minutes per day. So, even if you do more each day, doesn't get you off the hook doing them EVERY DAY! Mhawwwwww! :)

January 10: Four 30-second planks. *Whew! Finished at the 11th hour!*

I am clearly doing something wrong! I workout everyday at the gym (cardio, circuit machines...about 45-60 minutes). I resist temptation (sweets, junk food, soda, etc.) I log my food. Drink my water. Eat about 1300 calories/day. And, the scale has NOT moved! In fact, I have gained a pound! HELP!!!

January 10: One 60-second plank. Two 30-second planks. *Resisted bread & butter and cupcake temptation last night at the sales banquet. Opted to wash everything down with one glass of Moscato instead! :-)

January 9: Four 30-second planks. Long day ahead...in training all day (8-5) for new job, then sales banquet (6-9). I miss my free-time. (Seriously, I do.)

Also looks I don't know what day it is! A little "off" on my calendar days!
-
January 8: Four 30-second planks. Why does it feel harder? Should be getting easier. UGH!

January 5: One 60-second plank. Two 30-second planks. First day on the new job. Just like these planks...so far, so good! :)

Well, you sound like you know what you're doing and that it's working for you. I am a 41 yr old female...just started working out. Let me know your thoughts on my "routine." First, I do 30 minutes of cardio on the treadmill. Level 1 incline. Interval 3-min walk/2-min jog. Then, I hit 9 circuit training machines (both arms…

January 6: Four 30-second planks. HAPPY SUNDAY!

Don't rely on artificial sweetners...they are full of toxic chemicals. Stick to water. It does a body good! :)

Thanks! Just had my "Aha Moment." I was always afraid of eating those exercise calories and wondered why MFP would even tell in the first place. I do 30 minutes of cardio and 25 minutes on circuit machines, 6 days a week. Knowing I should eat those calories (clean eating, of course!) makes this Wisconsin Girl VERY happy!!!

Just checking up on you... Great job playing catch-up on your missed days! Way To Plank! ;)

Funniest post of the night! LOL

January 5: One 60-second plant. One 40-second plank. One 25-second plant. MERCY! Lots of grunting and moaning. If you were listening from behind a closed door, you might think I was doing some pleasurable. HAHAHA

Hey Jonward85, Happy New Year! You don't have to leave those first few days at zero (0) minutes. Go back and play "catch up" with your planks. I'm going to check back in with you to make sure you completed your responsibility. LOL Have a great Planking Day! :) Jodi

January 4: One 1-minute plank, one 45-second plank, one 20-second plank. TGIF!

Prince Harry...I love me some red-headed, bad boy from across the pond!

I'm a WISCONSIN girl! Feel free to visit anytime...we are a hidden gem among the 50 states! (Plus, we can have a "sista weekend!")
-
January 3: One 1-minute plank and two 30-second planks. (I definitely learned my lesson of what it feels like to forget to plank!)

I'm turning my emotional eating habit into helping someone else trying to lose weight. My friend needs a ton of support and I've taken on the role of "supporter" for her. She needs to lose over 100 lbs. but is ashamed/embarrassed to go to the gym (even though she has had a membership for over a year). I need to lose 30…

Mercy! I swear you were writing this post about me! Thinking about "worthy rewards" that could replace this one is almost impossible. That's not to say you couldn't *try* one of many suggestions; however, most are not going to give you that instant gratification high. Bowling league, bike riding, Wii Fitness games,…
