I suffer anxiety and panic attacks randomly

It pretty much cured my post natal depression 3 years back. It was ongoing for ages, took control and it slowly melted away thanks to exercise and looking after myself again. Obviously it may not be the same for everyone, however exercise releases endorphins (happy chemicals!) therefore it makes sense that it relieves…

Looking at picture of me 18 months ago when I was 50lbs heavier and comparing them to pictures of me now...I don't ever want to go back at looking that way. Also, more importantly, I have discovered I LOVE working out! It's now a passion rather than a chore.

Find an exercise or two that you enjoy and that you can easily/happily incorporate into your life.

Definitely irritating but certainly helps me become more aware of what I put in my mouth, and where I should make a better nutritional choice...

You are definitely in the right place for sound advice, motivation and friendly chats...Best of luck xx

Work out a bit more and factor these foods into your daily allowance! Not all in one day, but spread your favourite treats out over the week...I'd go mad if I didn't! I have eaten my naughtiest, yummiest treat foods (in moderation) and have still lost 52lbs in just over a year! Do it and be happy :) It's not about…

I developed bad habits about 10 years ago meaning I haven't really eaten breakfast since leaving school. I have lost 50lbs with MFP but still have breakfast issues. I find that when I do eat breakfast (usually a little later in the morning mainly at the weekend) I am then starving all day! Looking for ideas for filling…

I have lost over 50lbs in the last year, dropped from nearly 180lbs to about 125lbs. It took me ages to see the change in my body, it was mainly through clothes being too baggy that I truly noticed. My self confidence is not as it should be and I am very hard on myself. So many people were kind and complimentary about my…

Hi! I'm looking for motivated people to keep me on track. Lost 50lbs over the past year and now need to maintain this weight and still improve my fitness. I'm hoping to do a charity trek next year and want to push my physical limits. I too am a mum, my daughter is 3 and a half. I am on here pretty much every day!

I've lost 50lbs in total over the past year without totally cutting out the things I love...When you cut them out is when you become unhappy so will probably end up binging at some point. Which is what I did before!

When I was starting to lose weight, I did the 1200 calorie diet for about 4 months and then slowly upped it whilst still checking that I was losing weight. I promise that if you are exercising, you can eat more and the weight will still come off :) I was very very nervous about upping my calorie intake. Now on 1600-1700…

Same, I am mainly focusing on toning up now and still careful not to go overboard on the fats and saturated fats...

No never ever ever. My daughter is now 3 and have never even considered it. She holds my hand generally, and when she doesn't she knows to stop and wait at a road (then holds my hand)

Make sure you're eating back those 'exercise calories'...enjoy them! You will start to feel tired and ill if you don't...

....accepting that i will have to continue calorie counting and working hard to keep my figure, rather than reaching a weight i'm happy with then putting the lbs back on (which has happened in the past!) I have lost 37lbs and plan to keep it that way!

i have dropped a whole cup size, perhaps more in the 6 months i have been losing weight...unfortunately for me, they were the first place i lost weight (as opposed to my thighs, which i would have preferred!). so i went from a large-ish 36D to a 36 small C cup
