I ran for a year and did almost an hour a day 4 days a week but until I added weights and really tightened up my diet to really lean and BIG deficit I did not lose anything. I was 600 below and that was without my workout...worked and it was SUPER busy. Planned out keeping it under but not by that much sure it will come back up today..I am in mainteince.

I kinda am getting a different slant..some think I look better fat! think they were just use to me looking that way and they are overweight think they may have to think about what they are doing. Since you say they will want to wow you..give them any dietery needs you want...and tell them to create for you! I am a waitress have been for 20 years.{ Lived in Vegas area so spent a lot of time there}. You won't be there long enough to gain 10 lbs...But the chefs do know how to sneak in a ton of calories in things! YUM

I did not even perspire a tiny bit till I was in my mid 50's ,I usually kinda glow red, when I run when I get back to where it is cool I will sweat a bit. We do have super low humidity.

5'5". 60 yrs old, high 176 today 124. workout with weights and run pretty lean 21% bf. I am happy here use to think 140 was goal! Before I got muscles very compact help to burn more calories also.

I am 60 and they did not have them when my son was little,BUT if I had a child in this day and age I would use on in a NEW YORK min. For their safety children are very fast and in a store or crowd can disappear in a second.
