Hi Ed, Depending on what you're taking, some of your stall may be medication-related. I have also been having an incredibly difficult time losing. In my case, however, it appears to be linked to the content of what I eat more than the caloric intake. The higher the carb content, the harder it is to lose - doesn't really…

Hi Ed, Keep moving is the best advice I can give you. The more you move and stretch, the better. I'm glad you caught it early, and I hope you can keep it under control. Best wishes!

Wore my Timex HRM all throughout 6 months of triathlon training a couple of years ago - never a problem with it, although I was careful to start & stop the watch above the water line.

Ranting here... So tired of dealing with this. Not that my irritation is going to change anything, but sometimes I just want to give up. Can't sleep more than 2 hours at a stretch because moving hurts, every time I get into an exercise routine some odd extremity injury (torn ACL from walking uphill...seriously?) occurs,…

I only discovered it by accident, when I did "Skinny in Six" and after a few weeks the sciatica was gone. May not be the case with you, but it may be worth a try. Good luck!

Hi Tony, I'm 49 yo, 165 lb female having the common frustration of not losing despite logging calories and maintaining my MFP recommended caloric intake. Thanks for the information - I'm going to stop eating back my exercise calories in the hope that my worrying about the whole "starvation mode" thing is what has been…

I put two tablespoons on Fiber One cereal (the twiggy kind) for breakfast - it's like 23g fiber. I'm targeting 1200 a day myself, and this breakfast fits in nicely.

Nothing but anecdotal, but since I started doing the anti-inflammatory diet and taking anti-inflammatory herbal supplements (started 1 month ago) I have gone from being in constant pain and nearly immobile due to a flaring spinal arthritis condition to being pretty mobile and in much less pain. The drug the doctor had…

The recipe setting in the food tab is great - just put in all the individual ingredients and tell it how many servings it consists of. Then you'll have the serving nutrition information for your personal recipes.
