Legs: Squats & Lunges Tummy: Jack Knives (upper and lower tummy); Torso Twist (obliques); Pilates strengthens your core while making your tummy area look more leaner. i hope that this helps. good luck! :-) update: if your back bothers you, try using the big exercise balls. they come w/workout videos too.

i have digestive issues too. walking seems to help me, yet too much fiber w/o enough fluid/water will make you constipated. I drink Senna tea to help me out. at one point i was taking it daily, now i'm using it about once every two weeks. i didn't answer your original question, but i hope that this helps. TRY SENNA…

WoW! That's a huge difference. I have the PFT7, and use its output as my calorie burn. I'm not sure about the 4, but w/the 7 it factors in my resting heart rate to determine my fatburning and fitness burning zone. I also have to wet the strap. Are you placing the band in the correct place? If you are, and you've seen…

Hello Mizhectick, I reviewed a couple days of your diary: Are you logging all of your foods & exercises? Are you skipping meals? Are you drinking enough water (half your body weight in oz - e.g. 250lb/2=125 125/8oz= 15.63 glasses of water) a day? We need to do more than just stay w/in our calorie goal. We HAVE TO eat…

I eat 3 meals & 3 snacks - eating something every 2-3 hours. I try to refrain from large meals at one seating because afterwards, I feel sluggish and/or stuffed. Sometimes I may split my breakfast &/or lunch in half. Chick Fil A Breakfast: Have main course for breakfast; then 2-3 hours later have the Granola Yogort for a…

Girl, looking at your pic and reading your post lets me know that you're really serious about this "Cheat Day." :flowerforyou: However, I am somewhat curious:  1. Why are you limiting yourself, and starving yourself from your desires - just try to balance it w/coordinating your food intake and exercising to reach your…

WOW! I'm not an exercising expert, but maybe you can try to do most of your workouts w/free weights, and bulk up your legs. If your upper back area is bulky, you may want to try a 30 minute detox message to get the fluids flowing. Afterwards drink plenty of water. There's a lymph node near your armpit area that causes…

I agree w/AlyPri, you have to do what's best for your eating habits and circumstances. I try to eat something every 3 hours and split my lunch in half; however, I have my journal broken down into: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinks, supplements/condiments. Therefore, I can keep track of area. I try to eat dinner w/in…

i wouldn't count those things. this website gives you a calorie goal based on your lifestyle. i only log workouts.... and yes, i would understand logging gardening, but not household cleaning unless it's major cleaning for long periods of time. i wouldn't log the pedometer steps. just make a note of it in your exercise…

You should not workout on an empty stomach, you should eat a snack/small meal. Then eat a full meal/protein shake after your workout. The sooner you eat after your workout, the better it is. If in the AM: I eat afterwards If in the PM: I've eaten throughout the day Personally I cannot eat a meal before a workout, because I…

I here ya. My first week I lost 4lbs, then gained 1.5 (second week). I was discouraged last Friday, I was given support through MFP, but I was still disappointed. However to the Spa this weekend, and my masseuse notified me that my body feels different. She said that, "Your muscles are swollen, that's not a bad thang. You…

Thx You Guys, I got it: Muscle Gain/Swelling, Water Retention, and/or Plateau. Your words are encouraging. The websites were spot on. The “Clothing Regimen” is very insightful. Trying on the same clothing and knowing which areas’ are looser, smoother, or tighter will result in some Major Self Satisfaction. Thanks again for…

WoW! The Tape Measurer had to have been an Awesome Motivator. I need to start doing the same thing. I just do not know where to measure myself - you know "The precise places." I may need to look into this, because I was discouraged this morning after getting on the scale. WTG! :-)
