I've done the week 1, 30 minute section of that video. I think it contributed to something, it made me sweat and gave me a great stretch. I still do it occasionally for stretching.

My faves are almonds, macadamia nuts and cashews. I buy raw nuts from the bulk section b/c I don't like a lot of salt added to mine. Planters NUT-rition mixes are also super duper good.

My results fluctuate too, similarly to what you explained. I notice the more water I drink the lighter they are. I curb my water intake in the evenings so I don't have to get up a lot and notice when I test in the evenings they are darker. Most important is that we are in ketosis! Congrats to you.

Feel free to add me to view my food diaries since they are friends only. I've been on Atkins since 12-27-12 and lost 38lbs! At first I found it extremely challenging due to the restrictions but I've gotten really creative in the kitchen with my proteins and carbs.

I drink a fast acting whey protein called Iso Pure in chocolate. Its pretty tasty. I also take in lots of water.

I really like Biggest Loser weight loss yoga. I get a super amazing stretch out of it as well as a great sweat!

Bacon! I also like red pepper pesto sauce, ginger sesame sauce, teriyaki sauce and sriacha sauce!

Try adding tofu and seitan to dishes. Tofu has lower carbs than seitan, but I like the taste and texture of seitan better. You can crumble both of them and add to your chili to up your protein. Tofu is extremely versatile and works great in stir frys. I recently made a zucchini noodle stir fry with broccoli, jalapeños, bok…

I'm not sure if it will decrease net carbs, I'd love to know if anyone actually knows the answer to this, but Konsyl fiber supplement has super low carbs. Metamucil is high in carbs, as are other fiber supplements. Another option for fiber that worked for me is chia seeds.

Google Dr. Weil vitamin advisor. It will recommend a lot of vitamins for you based on your current physical state and family medical history. I found it to be very informative.

I do 45 min to an hour of cardio daily as well as weightlifting 3-4 times a week. I also experimented and lost slightly more on keto diets without exercise. Ultimately, I decided losing weight and gaining muscle and improving cardiovascular capacity was equally important. I've also read that when doing keto alone, some of…

Pickles or pickled condiments, like jalapeños are high in sodium. Another suggestion would be sauces such as buffalo, cholula or sriacha. Also, soy sauce.

Wow, congratulations! You look great, thanks for sharing! :)

I understand your frustration. I just broke through a plateau. I did it by keeping my carbs ultra low, around 12-15 a day, keeping my sodium very low, under 2000mg and increasing my water. It took 2 days then I dropped 1lb, 6oz and I continued on with 20-30 carbs daily and still loosing. Good luck, hang in there, try some…

Walmart has a good selection of Danskin. Target has a good selection if Champion. I've been happy with the style and longevity of both brands.

Yes, I have. I'm starting at a high weight (285) and workout about an hour and a half a day as well as weight training and LOTS of water.

So far I've lost 25 lbs since 12/27/12 by keeping my calories at 1200. I take a multivitamin and other supplements, eat really healthy lean meats, lots of egg whites, veggies and nuts. I really think the quality of food you eat is important. I'm sure if I were eating 1200 calories of low quality, processed food I would be…

Two things I frequently make for lunch that freeze well and are pretty cheap Turkey Chili: ground turkey, can of diced tomatos, can of beans, chili powder and spices. I get 6 servings out of 1lb of jennie-o turkery. I also recently made this without beans (less carbs) and substituted buffalo meat and it turned out super…

Is it muscular or joint pain? For muscular soreness this usually works for me: Taking a 1-2 day break between weight training sessions. Yoga and stretching. Hot baths. I use a microwavable neck wrap and lay it on my sore areas for a few minutes then massage them.
