I've been doing this for quite awhile after reading "1984"... I used to be a huge diet coke drinker. Now, I can't stand the taste of artifical sweeteners. I know that I can't eat as many sweet things to keep under my calorie goals. But if I do have something that is sweet, I want the real thing!

Fabulous job! btw- it gets easier to say no to that office food. btw- 1.5 lbs/week! that is an awesome and heathy goal. Don't let anyone tell you differently!

I generally close to 40 g/day w/o All Bran- oatmeal for breakfast, salad with lentils for lunch. Lots of fruits and veggies.

I've got a similar situation. I was eating way to many toddler foods at night time. Once I start eating them, I wil not stop. But I like to have a snack after dinner. My solution... CARROTS. INstead of the cereal/crackers. I get a carrot. It is sweet. crunchy and healthy.

Give them away, buy smaller, and move on. You are worth it. Yes the clothes are nice, but get them out of your closet. You don't need to be eating to fit into them again!

What time do you weigh? I generally weigh in the morning. If you were at the doc's office in the afternoon, you could definately see a "weight" gain from the morning... there's water, waste, food, clothes, etc.... looks like everyone has some really good ideas. A while back I found a baked apple recipe that is yummy and healthy. Core apples, pour over balsamic vinager, your favorite spices,, and bake until apples are tender. They were as good as apple pie.

I got one shortly after the birth of my son. I didn't have the problems to open up my cervix... As you can imagine, it was still trying to close. But I did get an infection that drove me batty. I had it removed about a month after getting it.
