I'm sure you'll get varied responses on this but I count them as water. I drink between 12-15 8oz glasses of water a day (deployed to a desert environment so it's pretty easy). I'm not so strong. I had a 300mg (no idea what that converts to) filet mignon the other night. I'm sure the mashed potato's next to it weren't too healthy either. Man, it was good.

Shift work does suck. A snack isn't going to kill you. Your body is expecting a snack at that time so it's not a big deal so long as you aren't snacking on a whole pizza:happy:
