Elliptical, bike, 300 lb set of Olympic plates, barbell, bench, cage, dumbbells, resistence bands, yoga mat, foam roller, and several DVD's. Almost forgot, a Total Gym that never gets used.

I love Trader Joe's natural peanut butter. It's just nuts and salt. Stir it up and it's creamy and delicious!!

I'm a newbie myself. I bought a barbell set and a cage so I wouldn't need a spotter.

Congrats on the progress you've made so far! I used to do all cardio, but now I lift 3 days per week (I'm doing All Pro) and do cardio 3 days per week. I just started a couple of weeks ago, but this is allowing me to eat a lot more than I had been and I'm losing better than I was before. I would try to mix up your cardio a…

I'm interested. :flowerforyou:

Apparently I have a lot to look forward to in the next few weeks...
-
I see. I hope she heals quickly! I'm sure you will love your PowerLine!! And I just noticed how much weight you've lost. Congrats!!!!
-
I guess so! lol Did you get the PowerLine? You never know, she may surprise you...my hubby kept saying he didn't want to lift. I guess he has noticed how much Austin and I enjoy it...not to mention all the extra food I'm eating now.
-
Only if you want to pay more. We buy ours from Costco, high protein and low sugar.
-
It's much better than obsessing over food.
-
Its great that your hubby doesn't mind spotting you! I've only used it once but loved the convenience of being able to do it at home alone.
-
I agree.

My abs are far from strong and I have had back problems (on occasion) my entire adult life, so it sounds like it's a good idea for me to use it. Thanks!

I've been wondering the same thing. I have them on my wish list with Amazon. They have them for $60 and I would get free shipping. I would love to buy them but I've spent so much over the past week trying to get my home gym set up I hate to ask my husband to buy me something else now. (I did have Amazon send him an email…

Do they offer any arch support? I have a high arch and had plantar fasciitis for 3 years so I need to be careful. I am also finding my running shoes too clunky for this.
-
Are they cross trainers or running shoes?

Bump...

Our Sun and Ski had them so I went there. I ended up buying two different sizes. I got a 36 D in the Fiona but I opted for the 38 D in the Juno because that contraption was difficult to get on in the smaller size, although it fit well once I got it on. After reading that they stretch some, I hope I don't regret buying the…

I think I will go try them on in person. The website says 38D but I wear either a VS 34DDD or 36DD. Mine were bouncing all over the place this morning...gotta get some new bras!!
-
I didn't watch the video the first time and it said 38D. :noway: After watching the video, it said 36D which sounds more like it. With Victoria Secret bars I have both 34 DDD and 36 DD, both fit very well. Weird, I know but at least they are different bras. lol I just checked their website and there is a place close to…

Not sure what my baseline fitness is... I've been doing a variety of cardio (classes at the gym, elliptical, DVD's) about 6 days a week for several months so my body is used to it and I really enjoy cardio. I had been lifting light weights (8-12 lbs. dumbbells, along with lots of squats, lunges, push ups and dips) doing…

You go girl!! I am so impressed!!!!!! I'm sure I will never be able to do that.
-
I just started today! It's an awesome workout!!
-
Yeah, after reading that was when I decided to look for a short HIIT video and decided on this one. After I got it and read I was supposed to do it 5 days a week I was concerned it might be a bit too much to do with this. Then I started reading your thread about exercising on non-lifting days and noticed some of you are…

Thanks! I found this very helpful!! I was trying to do it with straight legs and had that slightest little pain in my back. Going forward I will have a slight bend in my knees. I should have known better, I've always heard to do that when lifting.
-
It's 25 min HIIT workouts. It arrived with a calendar showing you what to do each day of the week. There is a little strength training involved in at least one of the workouts but I could just skip that part. It's supposed to be similar to Insanity, just shorter. This video will give you a sample:…

I use Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein Powder. We buy it at Costco for $50 for 55 servings. I'm lactose intolerant and it doesn't bother my tummy at all. (Not sure if that's why you opted for a soy protein) It has 30 grams of protein, 140 calories and only 1 gram of sugar per serving. I love it when I add 1 cup of light…

Thanks for the info! I think I should change form on these. The lifting doesn't hurt my back, it's initially picking it up off the floor. It's not a sharp pain, just a tad uncomfortable for a second. That won't be an issue once I get bigger weights on there because it will be a bit higher off the ground...so I just need to…

My hubby has been spotting me too and helping me get the weight up for my squats and such because I don't have a rack or anything right now. I think he's as ready for my cage to get here as I am so he won't have to do it anymore. Hopefully my results will impress him enough that he will want to start doing it too.
