I don't have a gym membership. I dropped it after I bought everything I thought I needed for my home gym. Hopefully it will heal quickly. In the meantime I will do more cardio and limit myself to squats and lunges. My squat weight is pathetically low right now for a girl my size.

I don't post my fitness or weight loss goals or accomplishments on facebook. MFP is much better for all things health and fitness. I get so much encouragement here from people with similar goals or those that have already accomplished much more than I would even hope for.

Hi Beckie! Welcome to our group!! I don't really have any advice to offer since I'm a newbie myself, except stick with it and you will see results. I'm sure the more experienced members will pipe in with some great advice for you.
You bench press the same amount that you squat?
Yes... :embarassed: I'm a newbie (only on cycle 2, week 3 of AllPro) and have had a lot of back problems over the years so I'm taking it slow and easy with the squats. It never crossed my mind my first injury would be my wrist! :noway:

I'm a teacher, so I'm not on a computer all day...except when I'm at home surfing MFP or doing my homework (I'm also a grad student). I just started icing it today and will continue with that. Also, I am going to buy some type of wrist splint or brace. thanks!
-
I will pick one of those up. I don't think it could possibly be a break, I didn't hit it or anything. I guess I will just use the wrist brace, ice, and rest.
-
I plan to. :( What about continuing with squats and maybe doing curls with with my left arm since I assume it's weaker since I'm right handed and I hurt my right wrist? Or would that mess up my other lifts?
-
I didn't hurt it while squatting. I hurt it moving the bb down to my bench press position after squatting. I should have removed the weights first but I didn't. It was a careless mistake on my part.

Amazing transformation! Kudos to you for doing it the right way! :flowerforyou:

Besides what has already been mentioned, I love to snack on protein bars.
-
Congrats on your success!! I'm sure his expert advice was very helpful (wish i were so lucky!!!) but you are the one who had to do all the hard work. Well done!
-
That must be where I had read it. Thanks! I did take two days off inbetween. :) I will take 2 more and start week 3 Monday.

You look fantastic, you are rocking that dress and your hair is absolutely gorgeous!
-
Are you starting cycle 2? Great job!!
-
Nice job!

Amazing transformation!! I still hate my arms but you've given me hope. Thanks!
-
Me too! In fact, I got busted gawking at a guy with an awesome body while we were sitting by the pool on our last cruise. We laugh about it now.
-
Sounds wonderful! I'm sure you will have an amazing cruise!!

I recently completed my first cycle and I can see changes already. I lost 7.6 lbs. and 8" during cycle 1. I still have a long way to go to get where I want to be, but I am pleased with my initial results. ETA: Not that you care about my personal opinion, but I think the guys in both the10-12% and 15% pics look fantastic!!!
-
Oh no! I  this one!!!
-
I have several, but my biggest crush is on Brad Pitt.
-
Awesome transformation!!! And check out those arms~ I'm so jealous!!! I'm 5'9" too but I don't recall when (IF) I ever weighted 128! lol I remember how skinny I was at 145. I would be thrilled to get down to 160.
-
I have it too although it hasn't bothered be much since I've lost weight.
-
Thanks!

Thanks! Look at my wimpy curls though. lol I really think I could do more, but took the advice of everyone and decided to only go up as close to 10% as I could. The BOR's and SLDL's are the most difficult. Once I get to the curls, I'm relieved to be to the "easy part". I should also add, I'm quite a bit bigger than…

He does pretty much eat that way, although we eat a lot more chicken and fish. We only cook beef about once a week.
