I too ride bicycles. The same thing happened to me that is happening to you. My solution was to eat back my exercise calories. It seemed illogical to me at the time, but it worked. Good luck.

You can't solve it.

That article was interesting if only for the idea that people MIGHT NOT need the extreme fitness levels they aspire to today. I have often thought that people who live much of their lives at one extreme (obese), simply go to another extreme (super fit). It's still obsessive behavior....just in another direction. It all…

There are lotsa ways to get your heart rate up. Find something you enjoy and it won't be a chore. Personally, I enjoy riding bicycles. Good luck.

Can't say that I do. I count calories so that I can eat what I like. I've never been into self denial philosophies of any kind.

Wow....sounds like you really have some issues with men...or your hubby....or both!

HERE IS WHAT SOME EXPERTS HAD TO SAY.............. Eight glasses of water a day an urban myth'? Yes but I firmly believe that we can be perfectly hydrated without having to drink plain water.

I like stouts, porters and IPAs myself. However I would never criticize other people's tastes. It's SIMPLY a matter of personal preference. Variety in tastes is a good thing. Otherwise, I might not be able to find beer at all.

I have heard that before but never tried it on myself. I might just have to give it a shot and see what happens.

I don't have a solution for him. But I have one FOR YOU. Stop making yourself miserable by worrying about things you have no control over. Peace.

Read the disclaimers. Not everyone's metabolism is the same.

It's an 8 ounce cup. But I don't believe that whole water thing is anything more than a myth.

I joined WW over twenty years ago and made my goal weight...which made me a lifetime member. I never went back to WW after that. The main reason was that I'm not the type who gets motivated by WW methods. The whole group dynamic did little for me. The idea of someone else monitoring my weight did nothing to help me. Now,…

I'd call a podiatrist. Years ago I played lots of racquetball and developed a spur. My podiatrist gave me a couple shots of cortisone and I took a short break...maybe two weeks....then went on playing. I've never had a recurrance. They probably have some new treatments though. Good luck.

She's fine with it. We do lots of things together though so it's probably not a fair comparison. However, she DOES appreciate that I am in better shape and tells me all the time.

I work in an office environment. At lunch I usually ride my bike for 45 minutes and get sweaty. No showers here either. I bring a wash cloth, towel and deodorant to work to clean up with. There is no odor for anyone to notice. I've done it for years.

Yes...probably 75% of evenings. I am achieving my weightloss goal for the last 15 weeks.

Guy code members would NEVER use this many words.

Do you feel better now?

I don't understand the question.

EVERYTHING has a "cost".

Someone once said "Life is hard, then we die."

It's a secret.

Taste is simply personal preference. You'll just have to hunt around and find one that YOU like. Good luck.
-
It's complicated.

That happens to me some weeks too. Then a week or two later I will lose two pounds instead of my goal of one pound. So far it has averaged out to a pound/week for the last 15 weeks.

So, let me see if I understand your quandry. Are you asking complete strangers to tell you what kind of figure you should have?
