I actually didn't find the NF one too challenging. I was little warm by the end of the third circuit but I could probably have done another. I just did the nerdfitness one. I did work up a bit of sweat in the 3rd circuit but I can see that I will need something more challenging in the future. Thank you for all your suggestions. Keep them coming! I will check all these things out.

I guess if the squats get too easy I could hold light weights when I do them and get progressively heavier. I think I am getting ahead of myself though.

Don’t you just love the way they all come at once. Was thinking about the gas bill. I get paid on 25th and if we one now I don’t think it will be due before then anyway. I can pay it when I get paid and then wait til you get paid for your bit.

I am nearly 5 foot 4! I am 31 with no children. I used to weight 170 llb (which was gross). I dropped to 148 with my fitness pal last year but I have crept back up to 154. My plan of attack is to net 1400 calories a day including eating back exercise calories as worked out by mfp. This approach worked really well for me before, even though I wasn’t as strict as I should have been really. I did the 30 day shred last time so I might do that again. I am also going to start cycling to work again…

I think everyone has areas that are harder to shift. I have lost 3 inches from my waist and 2 from each thigh and my face has slimmed down a lot but not a mm from my hips / bum.

I finished 30 day shred and am not doing ripped in 30. I actually level 1 of that far too easy after 30 day shred so moved straight to level 2 after doing it once and I feel like it's a good follow-on. Afterwards I plan to rotate a few of her other workouts, although I am not 100% sure which ones yet.

I think genetics plays a part. I lose fat and retain muscle mass a lot easier than most people I know. My father does no deliberate exercise (although he has an active job) and eats like a pig and has a 6 packI at the age of 58 and I take after him a little. I only get bad cravings for 1 or 2 days so I tend to give into them but then try to mitigate the damage before and afterwards. I love it but it is a fish so obviously it tastes fishy. I have it in a sandwich or wrap mixed with greek yoghurt lemon and pepper. Or just in a salad.

Maybe she just likes walking and is happy with her weight. Not everyone exercises purely for weight loss.
