evaporated milk is a good sub for cream. Cornstarch has a recipe for white sauce on the side of the box that has not fat in it at all.

I have found that taping the bottom of my feet with sports tape keeps the tendon from over extending and really helps with the pain. Also moving to non weight bearing exercises like bike or pool exercises is better than running/walking.

Are you eating 1,200 calories a day plus exercise calories? If not, then you body will go into starvation mode and hang on to every calorie it can. I know it's hard, but try to focus on eating healthy and improving fitness, the scale does not tell the whole story.

Have you had a physical lately? Thyroid, low iron levels, several other medical factors could be the problem.

I find that after eating really clean, low fat meals a high fat meal does not stay in my system long enough to become weight. Plus there is the extra exercise from running to the potty!

Thanks, that's what I'm seeing, 1-2 lbs after three/four hour session. Just wanted to make sure. Gardening is fun, but in the Georgia sun, quite a workout! :flowerforyou:

My brother felt the same way when his wife lost about 100 lbs. He started going with her to the park when she ran, to the gym etc. some times taking their adult kids or my mom. As a result, everyone is much healthier and happier. Clearly communicating feelings and motivations strengthens the relationship and family.

I bought a head of iceberg lettuce for when I'm not hungry, just want to chew something. Not many nutrients, but no calories to speak of either and it does crunch just a bit. I don't use dressing, just peal a leaf and eat. Satisfies my "mindless" eating impulse.

Try not to think of your exercise as one huge chunk of time, break it up into short breaks. I set my phone to go off every hour and I do two minutes of dumbbell work until reach my daily goal.
